Humans

The most common of the civilized races, humans are incredibly versatile and are capable of achieving whatever they put their minds towards. Proud and determined, a human has the ability to guide his progression into whatever he or she wishes.

A human character may select 2 of these benefits:
-Increase strength by a “+”
-Increase speed by a “+”
-Able to learn D rank spells of an extra magical element
-Increase Mana point pool by 10

-Humans are also incredibly lucky by nature. Once per fight that a human is engaged in, they may have a sudden stroke of luck. In this stroke of luck an attack or spell that might otherwise hit them is somehow stopped by powers beyond either player’s control. The human player must RP this very well and describe what happened in the environment to stop the attack.

Dwarves

These short and stocky people are proud and stubborn. With this comes an incredible amount of fortitude and stamina. These mountain dwellers have an incredible connection with the earth and its treasures, making their metal crafts beyond the skill of any other race.

-Dwarves are slightly resistant to magic. When hit by a spell, the effect as treated as if the spell were one letter rank lower.
-Forge spells cast by dwarves are treated as one letter rank stronger.
-Dwarves learn Forge magic spells in 1 less post than normal.
