A large room. There are four rows of tables with that are made of smaller, yet still fairly large, tables. There are large cabinets for students to keep their supplies and unfinished work, as well as a clay kiln. There is a sink in the back for washing hangs, and a small closet for extra supplies. Waterpainting boards, brand new, are tucked away in the black cabinet behind the teacher's desk.
Warning: This class is not for students seeking an easy A.

Rules
- Pay attention while I'm speaking, I don't open my mouth just because I like to see it flap. You'll have plenty of time to draw, and more if you listen the first time.
- The journals have been hand made by me for you, don't lose them because if they are not turned in in these journals, you won't get any points for that portion of the grading.

Grading
A (90-100%)
B (80-89.9%)
C(70-79.9%)
D (60-69.9%)
F (0-59.9%)

Assignment Categories:
I will be basing your final grades off of how you do grade-wise in 3 categories.

Classroom participation and in-class work (60%)

Out of class work/weekly journals (30%)
- The journal itself is 15% of the class grade, again, DON'T FORGET OR LOSE THEM.

Final (30%)

Receiving a recommendation for the upper level class:
To be accepted into my high level art classes you need to receive a C or higher as a final grade (that is at least a 70%). If you do not get that grade, next semester you will have to find a different class to take in this time bracket. Extra credit can be given if you need it but be warned it will not be very easy, so please try to maintain a good grade by doing all journal work and final.
