On a near by cliff, in sniper position, looking through the scope of a plasma rifle, Cable had his eye on a near by black SVU complete with armed escort motorcade. His target was inside the vehicle. Using both the scope and the aid of his cybernetic eye he spotted and identified his target "Bolivar Trask...today is your lucky day. Your going to change history today forever.."

He disengaged the safety on his rifle and hand his finger ready to squeeze the trigger, but suddenly from out of the sky two sentinels landed directly infront of him "HALT MUTANT!"

"So much for that, I was getting bored anyways" as he grinned and flipped and rolled backwards on to his feet aiming at the Sentinel's knee caps and fired a volley of plasma rounds at it before they could get a fix and fire upon him first.

Then the Sentinel he was firing at came barreling down towards the ground with one leg as it lost balance. However, it was falling over in Cable's direction! And he saw it coming.

"Bodyslide by one, right on top of the still functioning Sentinel's shoulder!!" and after those words were spoken, he disappeared in a flash of light and reappeared where he had stated. Right on top of the other Sentinel's shoulder. Once there the opposing turned its head and looked at him. Cable only grinned at it, as he unloaded round after round at the Sentinel's face Destroying its exterior faceplace and causing silicon, gears, and wiring flew out and hit the ground below.

What was left of the Sentinel's face and head was now smoking as its lifeless body was now falling towards the ground and Cable had little time to react if he was going to keep himself in one piece. Crouching down and holstering his plasma rifle, he pulled out the two ion blades from his boots, and activated them as their blades began to glow.

Looking down below at the Sentinel's lower shoulder and back, he stepped off and began free falling, but he stabbed the back shoulder as he was going down, securing his position, as the Sentinel fell forward to the ground.

When it landed, Cable was relatively un-hurt and dusted himself off as he pulled out his blades from the Sentinel. But he wasn't finished. Reaching for his belt, he pulled out a pair of plastic explosives, and wired them to the dead center location of both Sentinel's remains. He made his way of the rubble and began to walk off, then a short time later, a cloud of fire and smoke appeared destroying what was left of them
