:: this color text :: [11/4/2011 8:27:47 PM] Jinx: There's a shimmer in the air, the kind you see from heat waves. Invisible at a distance and totally see-through. Yet out of that shimmer steps a young woman. Her height somewhere between average and short, at five feet and five inches. Her eyes are a brilliant gold, her skin quite pale, her hair a lusterous scarlet with black tips that extends down her back to brush at the tops of her legs. It hangs loose now. She wears an outfit to match her hair, a scarlet tank top and short, black skirt, with black, strappy heels. She wears a long black coat that reaches past her knees, embroidered with golden swirls and golden roses. She looks at the man in front of her, arching a single, black eyebrow.

[11/4/2011 8:30:18 PM] Moonie: Akito looks over at the female. Sheilding his eyes from the shimmer a bit. He digs into the pouch strapped to his thight and pulls out his shades.
[11/4/2011 8:33:51 PM] Jinx: The woman looks over at the male, a wry smile tugging at her lips. "Dramatic gesture. It doesn't even glow." She gestures a pale hair, with black painted nails and gold decoration, at the shimmer, which promptly vanishes. "It's not the flashiest of entries, but I don't really hold with those things anyway."
[11/4/2011 8:36:17 PM] Moonie: Akito chuckles at the womans statement. "Perhas I was so blinded by yout beauty I had to wear them." Great, being around his brother, Yusei, was starting to rub off on him. He shuttered slightly. "Flashy or not it was still nice."
[11/4/2011 8:41:04 PM] Jinx: She smiled and made a sound somewhere between a hm and a short laugh, tilting her head so that her waterfall of hair spilled forward to hang in the empty space. Her eyes were interested and slightly amused and a corner of her mouth was pulled into the slightest of half smiles, but it didn't mean much in revealing her thoughts; this was an expression the woman wore often. As she tilted her head into better light it was possible to see she wore a very light amount of eyeliner, also black and serving to make her eyes seem brighter. "It wasn't anything special, just a way to step out of the mental realm without simply appearing."
[11/4/2011 8:42:49 PM] Moonie: Akito watched the woman. "Interesting. Though I find that some like to appear and run back in. It's nice to see someout out." He offers the woman a warm smile. Unlike his brothers, her felt a tad awkward talking to women who aren't his sisters.

With so many in the mental realm fighting to make their voices heard, I usually spend my time exploring that world." Her golden eyes drifted openly up and down the man's body, then went back to his face. "You don't seem to spend much time here either. Unless you're naturally shy?"
[11/4/2011 8:49:46 PM] Moonie: "Shy? Me?" His words were trailed by a series of awkward laughter. "Aha.. No." He looked over her. She seemed like someone who was not easily fooled. "Yeah... You are right. I try not to be though. But with Yusei over my shoulder it's hard. He's a true ladies man." He scratched the back of his head. "He likes to pick on me at times for not 'being a man'." He shrugged. He really didn't care what they said about him.
[11/4/2011 8:58:49 PM] Jinx: She watched the man while he spoke, eyes betrayed nothing and face relaxing into a more neutral position. When he finished that half smile of hers flashed over her expression. "It would be so boring everyone were alike in their behavior, though we do share common basics." She moved forward, heels making a distinctive yet pleasant sound as they hit the floor, coat and hair billowing ever so slightly behind her in the wind make from the wake of her movement. Each step forward showed very shapely legs, and without the coat hanging about her you could see her top clung to a slim, curved figure. She stopped in front of the male, though a bit to the left rather than front and /center/. She looked up into his face, her eyes and expression slyly amused. "Shy types tend to make for sweeter boyfriends than ladies men."
[11/4/2011 9:02:51 PM] Moonie: The 'man' before her was getting shyer. His cheeks got warmer as they started to flush with a light shade of pink. Sweet. Yeah... His mother often called him that, as have others. He didn't mind it. He rather liked it. "You do have a good point there... err.." He looked at the woman who was close to him now. He felt dumb and a bit rude. "I'm sorry. My name is Akito. May I know yours?" The pink on his face became more of a red now.
[11/4/2011 9:09:42 PM] Jinx: She did another one of her slight head tilts, golden eyes showing some amusement. It was clear that the man- /'Boy perhaps, if going by experience,'/ she thought -was indeed a shy type. He didn't seem uncomfortable having her so close, but he didn't seem as at ease with it as she was. "Akito," she said, dividing the word up as though each syllable was it's own word, and lingering over the syllables as though trying to see how they tasted coming from her mouth. Her eyes followed the curve of his nose, moved down to trail the line of his jaw, then flicked back up to his teal eyes. "My name is Gen."

[11/4/2011 9:18:48 PM] Jinx: Gen's smile gained a touch more feeling, and she made another of her amused hm's. "Well if you think it would make a difference, I can tell your brother that you aren't quite so shy when it really counts." A flash of black lash and gold iris as she winked up at him, her right hand coming up to twirl a lock of scarlet hair around a pale index finger.
[11/4/2011 9:28:36 PM] Moonie: Akito's ran his fingers through his mid-lengted white hair, exposing a few streaks of black. "Nah, if you were to meet Yusei he would definatly try hitting on you." Last thing he wanted to hate him for unleasing the rentless Yusei onto her. He took off his long thin leather jacket, it went passed his hips. It is embroidered with a tribal pattern on the back and sides. Under that he had on a fitting sleevles shirt. He rubbed a bare arm, it was muscular but a natural muscular (if that makes sense). As he rubbed hus shirt shuffled to exposed his well buit torso. His black jeans were fitting as well. With a belt that had the same tribal design as his jacket. Strapped to his thigh was a pack he never left home with out, its often hidden by the length of his Jacket.
[11/4/2011 9:37:37 PM] Jinx: Gen hm-ed and released the hair. Most found it surprising that the scarlet was her natural color, as were the black tips. It was those tips, plus her raven-black eyebrows that convinced most she used dye. She raised up that same hand that she'd been using to play with her hair and extended her index finger. Using the black-painted and gold-patterned nail, she began to lightly run her finger across what collar bone she could see under Akito's shirt, carefully and deliberately /not/ touching skin. "You might not have much to go on, given my current behavior, but I can be remarkably-," she looked up from her tracing and into Akito's eyes again, with that half smile on her face, "-discouraging to flirts."

[11/4/2011 9:41:15 PM] Moonie: Akito was slowly growing accustomed to the way Gen teased him. He chuckled a bit. "Then maybe you should meet him... One day." He was enjoying her company too much to have Yusei come along. "Though I find it funny. Discouranginf to flirts and yet... " His eyes narrowed slightly. ".. you seem to be a flirt yourself." Which he did not mind at all. It was nice to be good enough to be flirted with.

"Perhaps," she said, brushing away a lock of hair that had fallen forward into her face as she had moved, pushing back behind her shoulder. "Straightforward might be a better term though." Her head listed to the side again in bird-like inquery. "It's one of the quickest and best ways to learn about someone." A glimmer of mischief in her eyes. "If I was truly a flirt I wouldn't think about rejecting your brother, and I certainly would be taking a lot more advantage than I am now." She raked her gaze slowly down his body, to the curve of his neck, the prominance of his collar bone, the well-toned mucles of his chest, shoulders, and arms, back up his neck and again along the curve of his jaw, lingering on his lips and then back into his eyes as a means to prove her point.
[11/4/2011 9:52:45 PM] Moonie: Again the blush returned. "I see your point." Though he could never use that method to learn about someone. "This is how I find out about others." He smiled a bit shyly again. "Miss Gen, would you please tell me about yourself? I'd really like to know." He wasn't lying, there was concern in his eyes as he looked into her bright golden eyes.
[11/4/2011 10:01:51 PM] Jinx: Gen brought her right hand up again, her thumb resting under the right side of her jawbone, index finger against the side of her face, and other three fingers curled with the middle finger resting against her right cheek. She didn't show anything other than watchfulness as she looked up at Akito. "That does tell you something about a person's past, though not immediately quite as much about the person themselves as they are now," she commented, straightening her head so that she was facing Akito's chest. She shrugged thin, black-clad shoulders, then tilted her head back again to look up at his face. "And just what about my past would you like to know?"

She kept her eyes on Akito as she started to her, so that she was facing the direction of the chairs and looking over her shoulder at him still, then turned to look at the chairs and walk over to them. She swept her long, thick hair over her shoulder before she sat so that she wouldn't sit /on/ it, crossing her legs so that one heeled foot dangled above the ground. Because of her short skirt there was a /lot/ of leg showing, which made them seem longer, though she wasn't showing anything "indecent". She looked up at Akito expectantly. "How about you tell me something, and I'll tell you the same something in return. You can pick where you want to start." Tilt of the head, half smile.
[11/4/2011 10:16:27 PM] Moonie: Akito nodded and sat down next to her. Her folded his arms across his chest and glanced over at Gen, slightly blushing, then looking away before she noticed hopefully. "Lets see. With me there are six offspring in my family. My dad was a thief along with his best friend named Sayre. He got into trouble with a clan. He stole their idol." He eyed her, he knew his dad was rather dumb back in the day. "He met my mom and for the first time had a real relationship with a woman. The clan I mentioned earlier had set out to kill him. He faked his death, making everyone but Sayre believe he was dead. A bout to and half yeard ago he came back. The clan forgot about him. Then they had us." He thought a little more. "Most of my sibling caring on the 'stick hand (paw)' tradition. I do in a way but not often." He looked at her to see if his story was boring.
[11/4/2011 10:29:55 PM] Jinx: Gen mulled that over. "Sounds more like the history of your father," she observed, tossing her hair back over the chair and looking sideways over at Akito. She found his little glances amusing, and since she was guilty of a few glances of her own she didn't feel too bad about feeling amused. "Mine has a more definte ending." She was silent for a moment, golden eyes staring forward and so still she might have forgotten everything around her. Then she started in on her story. "I've just got an older brother. Half-brother, actually, though we look so alike we get mistaken for twins aside from a few physical attributes like height and sex." She glanced sideways at Akito again, then moved her eyes back forward. "Brother says he was quite different before he met my mother. Harsher, less forgiving. A warrior you wouldn't want to cross." The ironic half-smile that crossed her face was subconscious. "Brother admired him even if they were at odds. I think he hated my mother for taking that harshness from father." She paused, hands in her lap, tapping her right index finger against her upper leg. "Well I never got to meet him myself. I only have a vague impression of my mother, and what I know of either of them I learned from brother." She shrugged as though the matter was of little consequence to her, though her tone was soft. "They both died in a forest fire the day I was born. It was just purest luck that brother found me, and that he took me in. Perhaps if I had looked more like my mother he would have left me to die. Neither of us knows, and we don't think on it much since it's neither here nor there at this point."
[11/4/2011 10:39:48 PM] Moonie: Akito's eyes never left Gen as she talked. "Oh... I'm sorry to here about it." He's gaze dropped to his lap and he traces a design on his pants. "I may have of know you for long but I'm glad your brother was there to save you." He gave her a warm smile. Then he blushed. "I think you are to beautiful to die like that." He blushed more and looked down again. He sounded like a fool.
[11/4/2011 10:49:11 PM] Jinx: Gen smiled, both her hands moving forward to clasp each other and rest on top of her knee, turning her head carefully to look at Akito so that her curtain of hair didn't snag on the chair back. She separated her left hand from the tangle of fingers, leaving her right hand on her knee while she reached out with the other one. She slid her cool fingers slightly along Akito's jawline, tracing it to his chin where she tilted up his head, gently, forcing him to meet her eyes. "There's no shame in thinking something beautiful," she reassured him. "In outward appearance I /am/ beautiful. So are you, in a masculine way." She gave an inperceptable sigh and released Akito, letting her hand drop and moving it back to rest on top of her right hand on her knee. "It's inner beauty that's harder to achieve, and far more valuable than anything found on the outside. We can lose what's on the outside so quickly, but the inside stays with us forever."

His face was stern, but still soft. ”Do you think your inner beauty match your outer?” He was curious about what she thought. After all, she did say she was outwardly beautiful herself.

I do try my best to keep myself from descending into inner ugliness, but I'm not a fair judge to tell anyone what I think of my inner beauty. That's for those who've come to know me to answer, you'd have to ask them." Her lips quirked in an ironic smile. "Not that they are many who could claim the dubious honor of knowing much about as a whole."

:: this color text :: [11/8/2011 5:49:00 PM] Jinx: A shimmering gate appears. A shadow of a figure appears, then suddenly resolves into Gen, in the same outfit that she favors.
[11/8/2011 5:50:59 PM] Moonie: A black hole opens and a bare Akito is flung out... then the clothes he was wearing when they last met. "Seriously!?" He glares at his human who is about to fall over her chair from laughter. He turns to see Gen and freezes. "O-oh... Hi there." His hands slowly covered himself.

"I hope I wasn't....interrupting anything," she said, finally lowering her hand when she was sure she had her expression back under control.

"Would you take it amiss if I mention I think you look adorable," she asked, lowering her head to peer up at Akito through her eyelashes and brushing away a hank of scarlet hair. "In the most masculine sense of the word, or course," she added.

[11/8/2011 6:29:51 PM] Jinx: Gen brought her head back up and hm-ed. She reached into the pocket of her coat and brought out a black hair tie, and began to collect her long hair into a tail. "So," she said off-handedly while she made sure she had all her hair in hand, "are you going to dress or are you waiting for me to join you in semi-nudity?" She tilted her arm to the side so Akito could see her face and gave him another half-smile, then put her arm back and worked on tying off her hair.
[11/8/2011 6:47:12 PM] Moonie: Akito blushed. Gen? Half naked!? He rubbed his nose slightly. "Right." He grabbed his bants and shirt and put them on. "Again, sorry about that." He was too istractred by Gen to remember his clothes... Now that he thought about it.. he wouldn't mind if she did join him.

"Well I think if we want to go by the unofficial guideline, clothes don't really start coming off both parties until at least the third meeting," she said innocently, finishing with her hair and letting the long ponytail. "We're only at the awkward silences and blushing stage."
[11/8/2011 7:02:06 PM] Moonie: Akito laughed. She was sharp. He returned a Hm then stepped out of the room. He waited a good five minutes before he walked back in. "Ah! Gen so good to see you again!" He smirked a bit. This waould be their 'third meeting'.
[11/8/2011 7:09:45 PM] Jinx: Gen had caught on to Akito's plan the moment he turned and walked off, and had to stiffle another laugh. "I think a meeting should count as more than a few exchanged sentences," she remarked lightly, quirking a black eyebrow and returning smirk for half-smile.
[11/8/2011 7:11:34 PM] Moonie: Akito acted somewhat sad. "Curses! You foiled my plans!" He flopped back onto a chair and was melodramtic. Then he got up. "And I agree. I was just being silly." He smiled at her
[11/8/2011 7:18:04 PM] Jinx: Gen just kept up her half smile, then slowly began approaching closer to where Akito sat so they wouldn't have to talk across the room. In all the empty space her heels echoed loudly. "Just what would you do if I had started pulling off clothes," she asked, half-teasing and half-serious. "It's one thing to joke about it, but do you think we know each other well enough to actually take that step?" It was a very real possibility that either of them could have froze in a wash of uncertainty if they moved too fast, which was hardly romantic.
[11/8/2011 7:27:00 PM] Moonie: Akito thought. "I would blush of course. But I would be respectful. Yes we just met, but I consider you a good friend all ready." He nodded. Face more serious now."But before any of that happens. I would like to take you out. If you would allow me to."
[11/8/2011 7:34:08 PM] Jinx: Gen hm-ed, though her smile was kind and took some of the teasing edge out of the sound. "If I didn't have any intention to I wouldn't be here right now," she pointed out. She sat down in a chair that hadn't been there a moment before (the wonder of the mental realm) and regarded Akito with her large gold eyes. "What did you have in mind?"
[11/8/2011 7:36:17 PM] Moonie: Akito thought for a bit. "Home made dinne, then dessert and a movie." Classic date. His teal eye met her gold ones. "Anything specific you like?"
[11/8/2011 7:42:24 PM] Jinx: Gen interlaced her fingers and rested her chin on top of them. "Well if we're going classic, Italian seems the natural segue." She thought for a moment, then added, "I do like a good tiramisu."
[11/8/2011 7:44:00 PM] Moonie: Akito nodded. "Good. When would you like this to happen." HE was excited, but he didn't show just how excited he was.
[11/8/2011 7:46:43 PM] Jinx: Gen pursed her lips in thought. "Well I've got nothing planned for the rest of tonight or tomorrow," she said, bringing her attention back to Akito. "As long as you don't think you'll be wisked away, anytime in the next 36 hours will work."
[11/8/2011 7:49:55 PM] Moonie: "Ok then." He took her hand in kissed the top. "Then tonight. I will be the one to wisk you away." He smiled at her. Then he went into the kitchen and started to prepare dinner.
[11/8/2011 7:53:11 PM] Moonie: Akito pulled out a couple of things and started making Chiken Marsala with a large salad and stemed veggies. He also started the tiramisu. He set the table with fine dishes and set candles.
[11/8/2011 8:36:26 PM] Moonie: After most of the things were about to be finished he set the plates and put a little of everything on each plate and covered them. He stuck the Musi in the firdge and went to change. He went to go get Gen. Her bowed at her"Dinner. Is servered."
[11/8/2011 8:38:25 PM] Jinx: That actually made Gen laugh. "You're not going to break into show tunes on me, are you," she asked, eyes twinkling as she stood up.
[11/8/2011 8:39:48 PM] Moonie: Akito smiled. "Only if you wish me too." He followed her to the kithchen and pulled out her seat. Once she was seated her removed the plate cover, then took off his own."Enjoy." He sat down and wait for her to begin.
[11/8/2011 8:45:04 PM] Jinx: Gen looked up at Akito with a half-smile of thanks as he held out the chair for her, following him with her eyes as he moved to take his seat. "So, Chef Akito," she asked, pitching her voice in solemnness, "what do we have before us?" She'd seen the cooking shows before, how chefs always talked about everything made on the plate like they were making up a menu description.
[11/8/2011 8:46:35 PM] Moonie: "Chicken Marsala with steamed veggies and a house salad." He smiled a little bit more, proud of the meal he made. "Would you like some wine? Or something else."
[11/8/2011 8:51:26 PM] Jinx: Gen picked up a fork from the setting before her, lightly spearing a bit of the salad on the end of it. "I'm not much of a drinker normally, but right now I'm sure wine would be quite lovely," she said, light crossing her ankles and bringing the fork up to her mouth.
[11/8/2011 8:52:46 PM] Moonie: Akito went to the liquor cabnet and searched. "Im sure mu human won't mind." He smirked at her and grabbled a bottle. Serving her then himself.
[11/8/2011 8:56:15 PM] Jinx: Gen hm-ed. "Well if she protests, tell her that she started it by tossing you out in only your birthday suit," she said, lifting a black eyebrow. "It's only fair, after all."

[11/8/2011 9:03:54 PM] Jinx: Gen followed suit, watching Akito when he stopped watching her to eat his food. If she'd been watching as a distant observer she'd have found it funny, her looking down when he looked up and vice versa. About halfway through the meal, alternating bits of veggies with the chicken marsala and the occasional sip of wine, Gen looked up and met Akito's eyes. "Why don't we pick up where we left off yesterday, on asking questions? We hardly got more than a brief summary of our life stories out," she said, head tilting just ever so slightly.

[11/8/2011 9:26:51 PM] Moonie: "Hmm..." He thought about it. "Theres a trail I've been wanting to check out. I'd be out camping." He nodded then asked her. "What about you?"
[11/8/2011 9:30:51 PM] Jinx: Gen considered it for a moment. "Possibly the same thing. Traveling, at least, and I find myself spending my nights out under the stares more often than naught."

[11/8/2011 9:41:41 PM] Jinx: Gen had to consider this one a bit harder than she had the other question. "None that spring to mind. I do go from place to place a lot but I don't really collect anything or do particular things on a similar nature on a constant basis." She took a sip of wine, staring into the glass while she swirled the dark liquid. "If nail-painting counts as hobbiy then I've got that." She looked up, letting a smile tug on her lips. "I don't always do black with gold swirls. What about you? Hobbies?"
[11/8/2011 9:44:21 PM] Moonie: "When I'm camping I usually take a book along with me. They are usually about old temples and structures. I sometimes wish to go to them and see if I can find something others haven't. Kinda like my dad. If I'm not reading about that I just find something that looks interesting." His eyes rolled in thought. "I enjoy a good swim, never been to the beach though."
[11/8/2011 9:47:07 PM] Jinx: Gen nodded, taking a few more bites of her food while Akito spoke. "I've seen the ocean before," she said when he had finished, "though I've never gone swimming in it." She made a slight face. "Not a big fan of salty water constantly trying to get in my eyes and knock me down. The sand gets everywhere too."
[11/8/2011 9:50:06 PM] Moonie: Akito chuckled. "I think tha would make me dilike it as well." He looked at her plate, then at his. "Are you ready for dessert?"
[11/8/2011 10:08:58 PM] Jinx: Gen looked down at her own plate. "I think so," she said. There were only a few uneaten rementants, not nearly enough to be considered wasteful.
[11/8/2011 10:10:38 PM] Moonie: Akito stood and took her plate and stuck them in the sink.He'd wash them later. He took out two smaller plates and the Triamisu and placed them on the table. "Help yourself."
[11/8/2011 10:17:41 PM] Jinx: Gen located took her spoon and used it to carefully carve out a portion. She could have used a knife to make the cuts straighter and neater, but other than that it wasn't really needed. The ladyfingers at the bottom were easily soft enough for the spoon to cut through. She carefully scooped up the cheesecake-like desert on her plate then pulled back for Akito to get some.
[11/8/2011 10:19:59 PM] Moonie: Akito also used his spoon to cut into the dessert. Before he took a bite her looked up at Gen. "How is it?"
[11/8/2011 10:21:40 PM] Jinx: Gen also had a bit on her spoon, almost to her lips. She looked up, eyes amused. "Why, you testing it out on me," she asked, then put the spoon in her mouth. She took a moment, considering the flavor, the favored Akito with a smile. "It's quite good."
[11/8/2011 10:22:58 PM] Moonie: Akito chuckled and shook his head. "I've made it for my mother once. I wasn't sure if she was making me feel good or was telling the truth." He eyes her. "You aren't just saying that are you?"
[11/8/2011 10:27:05 PM] Jinx: Gen took another bite of the desert. "I wouldn't eat it if I didn't like it," she promised solemnly, then her half-smile came out again and she dipped her spoon back into the dessert.
[11/8/2011 10:27:48 PM] Moonie: "I'm glad you liked it." He smiled and dug into his own dessert, muching happily.
[11/8/2011 11:00:27 PM] Jinx: Gen was content to eat dessert in quiet. She had something of a weakness for sweets, and tended to linger over them a bit more than normal foods. Finally she placed down her spoon, plate empty, looking quite happy. She picked up her wine glass, swirling the liquid and taking a sip. "That was quite lovely," she finally said, looking over her glass at Akito.

[11/8/2011 11:21:27 PM] Jinx: For the first time Gen actually blushed. It wasn't more than the slightest coloring of her cheeks, but with her naturally pale complexion there was no way to really hide it. "Yes," she said, running her finger around the rim of the glass in her hand.

[11/8/2011 11:32:01 PM] Jinx: Gen's lips tightened slightly. "It's so silly," she finally said. "I don't really know what was on whoever's mind when they picked it."

[11/8/2011 11:45:30 PM] Jinx: Gen made a face. "Then it's odd." She set the glass down on the table with a small sigh. "I don't ever use my full name anyway, and I think the only other living creature besides myself who knows it is my brother. I'm assuming he's as close-lipped as ever and hasn't mentioned it to anyone." She brought a hand up to her forehead, half-hiding her face and glancing up at Akito through the one eye still showing. "Can you respect that I just don't give out my full name lightly? I like you, but it takes a lot more than that to coax me into giving that infomation out."
