This is the story of mage. A man who is adept at all kinds of magic and easily ranks high on any ranking system you could give magic users. However there is one magic he hasn't mastered and that is Time magic.
This man's name is Kazin Romara. He seeks to master all forms of magic and protect the masses with his powerful influence and spellcasting. The story begins one day in Kazin's home. He has been practicing Time magic for several months now. His apprentice has been by his side for almost ten years already the boy still only fourteen. The child had been highly adept at magic and Kazin took him in and taught him many things about magic and about life. Little did Kazin know that the boy had fallen for him somewhere along the way. He only really realizes it when he casts a spell that projects himself almost 16 years into the future. He had been meditating and manipulating time magic all day so he didn't realize it until he ran into his apprentice who had aged 16 years and yet Kazin's home was still well taken care of and his apprentice had simply continued his duties for 16 years without Kazin showing any signs of ever coming back. Now the man was middle aged and showed no signs of his loyalty to Kazin wavering. Also Showing no signs of having a life outside of tending Kazin's home while he had been away.
The next couple of days Kazin spends catching up on the world and wondering just what he had done to make the man so loyal to him. Honestly if their training had continued as it should have his apprentice would have his own practice long ago. It wasn't normal for a boy to be this loyal to an absent master. Even one as powerful as Kazin.
It has been three weeks now and Kazin can't stand the wondering anymore. He stops the man who is now actually older than him and holds his shoulders staring him in the eyes. "Why did you wait for me?" He asked dead serious.
This is where we begin. So will the apprentice tell the truth or will Kazin be forced to continue wondering?
