I Earthbound-Chan I That is all true. I agree that maybe she should the let the kid wait. I dont understand the PMS part, though. One of the cases I know of featured a girl who, during a severe PMS fit, kicked her mother's windshield and broke it- her mother to punish her had her 22 year old boyfriend arrested to punish her. It was just an example from a real life situation.

Oh my GOD. Well, in the end, I think they shouldn't start a full on relationship at her age.

And I'm not. At this moment I consider our 'relationship' a courtship. We're getting to know one another and to see if a future relationship would work.
Wow, I didn't mean to start a fight about it... Woo...
Well thanks to the words of advice I'm going to call her, or just text, and see what she thinks on all of this. Since it does consist of a two person partnership to have a relationship of any kind...
I want to also see if coming to see her, more so to meet her mother more properly this time, would be a possiblity.
And I will assertain the legal status of all this, just for reference. In my state I'm pretty sure consent is 16 and stachitory rape is worded specifically as "sexual acts". But I will check and update later.

Courtship... you're trying to justify being old enough to go to bars and find yourself a girlfriend with HAVING A RELATIONSHIP WITH A MIDDLE SCHOOLER!
Seriously- break it off. You're the adult. You need to make the choice that is in her best interest and that's LEAVING THE CHILD ALONE.

Welcome to the world of being an adult. It sucks sometimes.
Look the skinny is, they are 13, young, gay, in the closet, you are 21, out, and secure with yourself. This is a huge power imbalance which can lead to (unintentional) abuse.
Step the ******** back and put romance on the back burner. Sure, be there, support them, but romance is not what they need right now, but a friend and support. To conflate the two is setting them up for disaster.
Maybe it will turn into something later down the road when they are 18 (given the age gap and how the age of consent is staggered it won't be legal for you to engage in sexual acts like kissing, hugging, touching, until they are 18.)
Be a supportive friend and nothing more. Any more could spell disaster for them and you.
