Ouch, that cant be good for that horses back! How in the world did he qualify for such a professional competition? It looks like hes never been on a horse let alone jump one. eek

Are you sure this isn't a joke? Someone who genuinely didn't know how to ride to that extent would have either fallen off or lost their nerve halfway through.

Whichever way, the horse is a saint.

This was from a promotional thing where a professional show jumper switched places with a professional polo player (the guy riding in the video) and the money went to charity. You can tell the guy's a rider, note how he NEVER catches the horse in the mouth - I think the THROWING himself out of the saddle was his attempt at staying off the horse's back since he knows zip about jumping razz . Rather cringeworthy but at least everyone can rest easy knowing this was just a one-time thing.
