Link trotted happily towards the compound, pulling Lila along. He hadn’t done very well in the compound lately, but that wouldn’t stop him from trying to do his best. He was excited for the fact that Lila had brought home a new mokai friend for him to play with. Even if he didn’t win his battles, at least he’d have someone to play with after the matches, when all his other friends were busy.
Come on Lila! Stop going so slow! Link whined.
“Alright boy, we’re going!” She laughed. She had already been here earlier today with Eri, and now it was Link’s turn for a battle.
Inside the compound was routine for the young fighter. He was pushed into a chute with a small ‘clink’ before the doors on the opposite side opened. When his orange eyes settled on his opponent, he couldn’t help but grin widely. “Senna!” Link barked, just as the bell rang.
“Aw…” well, he wouldn’t go easy on his friend, but the two of them could have fun while fighting!
