Dyzana felt a bit queasy as her two-legger walked her up to the gate. This was going to be her first fight and it all felt really really tense. With a pat her two legger let her through and there she was in the ring with the sounds of other two leggers pounding on bars. She hoped she do well, win or lose she didn't mind. She just wanted to do well.

Cole felt a surge of energy as he was led to the gates. This was going to be his first real fight on the island, and his eyes glittered with anticipation. He could hear the crowd thrum on the other side, and it excited him. This was the opportunity of a lifetime.
As the gates opened, he turned to his human and bared his teeth in a non-threatening Mokai grin. You can count on me, it seemed to say. Then with a howl he leapt into the ring, raising his hackles for show.

She could see the male was ready and waited. Wanting him to come to her instead of her going to him. Her tail flicked irritatedly as she waited to take him head on. The hum of noise about her made her very cautious and turn about several times to get her bearings.

Cole was surprised when he saw his opponent. He hadn't expected a female fighter as his first opponent for some reason. No matter. For glory, there had to be sacrifices. He watched her pace about nervously, and lowered his head with a snarl. Just as the crowd's cries began to die down, he let out a vicious howl and charged forth at full speed, teeth and claws extended.

She tried to scamper out of the way but he came at her head-on and knocked what wind was in her out. She was terrified! A fighter was meant to fight but all these sounds and smells were overwhelming. Maybe if she had been accustomed to it this wouldn't have been so bad, but she was absolutely stunned. Still those flight or fight instincts were there and she kicked out at her opponent, trying to get away and take a moment to figure out the situation and then retaliate.

Success! Cole's reckless attack knocked the wind out of his opponent. However, the force behind the tackle threw him into the ground harder than he had expected, and he landed on one paw awkwardly. The female he was fighting kicked out at him, scraping him a little. With the remaining three paws, he hopped behind his gasping opponent to breathe for a moment, holding the pained limb close to his body. Between pants, he let out ragged growls. It was nothing personal, just business.

Well it seems the other had gotten injured, well good! She was still shaking a little and her focus was just skewed. However as she took a few breaths she felt better and became focused. Turning she jumped at him.
