there are a few glitches going on in gaia. people's avatars are changing randomly, people are becoming giant heads, and old man logan has been making death threats and saying he's gonna hack you. my initial reaction was "HOSHIT! ERIK FOUND GAIA AND IS TAKING HIS REVENGE BY TURNING THE BALL INTO ONE FREAKISH MASQUERADE!" and the threats kinda reminded me of the notes...
just thought i would humor you all with my phantomish theories!

thats an interesting thought! but who knows it could happen. the new years event was way to phantom esque for erik to not be lurking

my avi would actually change genders, i was a chick in a kimono for a while there, the best way to solve it for a while was to just re-save your avatar, but I hope most avis are back to normal for now. I don't think the mods played a trick, however, as the eventually fixed this problem and...if it was a joke wouldn't it persist? atleast until the end of the event.

My avi in the corner looked pretty cool. I had an angelic sash.
However, when I posted I looked like a 'tard. Too much stuff all jumbled onto one avitar. Imagine that coming from me. =/
