The platinum haired warrior's entrance would be similar to his opponents; descending down the area his eyes took in the different environment that they had from the rest of the tournament matches. "So it looks as if we'll be fighting in the dark." he told himself, his feet connecting to the actual ring. The platinum haired warrior appeared without his armored clothing for this match, wearing his signature clothes his teacher gave him along with the Dragon's claw and Tiger's fang resting in their sheaths on his back. His halo of course was slightly slanted just for some cool points. The Cryptic Chaos was still at the academy, a place that he needed to get back to after this was over. He should have gone back to the academy after he did but after realizing that he could receive more training in the afterlife he decided that staying there was for the best. At least for now until he would be stronger and come back to earth alive again. No doubt Sonya was still in contact with Reiko telepathically and her students would not forget him. But what about Rose? Will she forget about Reiko depending on the amount of time he would spend in the afterlife? He hoped not seeing as how that was as close of another friend he made since he came here.

His opponent didn't care about the honor route and demanded that the fight would start, so that Reiko could be defeated for another time. Reiko sensed that his opponent was an...interesting one. In certain categories Echo had the advantage but in others it was Reiko that remained supreme. The platinum haired warrior took out his Tiger Fang and Dragon Claw blades and gave them a light twirl before he gripped them slightly for the battle that was about to go down. And if things got worse, he was already dead so Reiko didn't have to worry about that.

"Let us begin." he stated before he begin to charge his own power along with Echo.

Right after his opponent was done charging up he took to the skies to begin his assault. "Guess we're taking flight." he thought. Due to their atmosphere it would have taken a while for their eyes to get adjusted to the surroundings. But more than likely their eyes would have been modified about now. The platinum haired warrior remained on the ground to see what attack his opponent would start off with, and what would be best to avoid it and strike. From the movement of his hands it was going to be a ki blast. Immediately Reiko ascended straight up towards the clouds to avoid the attack since it was coming diagonally towards Reiko. Luckily Echo's Ki power proved that such a technique would not blow the entire arena up to bits with that attack. After that attack was finished Echo headed straight for Reiko in a cannonball fashion. Reiko was not too surprised given the look at his opponent. It was judging a book by its cover in this case. Reiko had an attack ready for Echo as he flew towards him with his blades slightly extended from his sides."Yeah, being dead has it's perks." he joked.

Both warriors were going to collide and just when Echo removed himself from his ball form and attempted to strike towards Reiko's neck, the platinum haired warrior vanished for a brief moment before appearing 30 feet behind Echo.(Afterimage Fist is an ability to move so swiftly that an image of the technique's user is left behind. Most often it is used to dodge an incoming attack and get behind the opponent to perform a counter-attack. Its usage is not limited to just counterattacks, though.) It looked like Reiko was planning on playing keep away but if the Majin had good eyes he would notice Reiko unleash his Battou-Justu technique(By sheathing their sword, the swordsman can strike at the opponent with twice or even three times the normal speed, usually ending a fight if the opponent is hit with the sharp side of the blade.). But even then, with Reiko combining the afterimage technique with the Battou-Justu the platinum haired warrior had unleashed 2 deadly, precised unseen strikes towards the quadriceps of Echo's kicking leg and his non kicking leg, having enough power to split the legs apart of to deliver massive injuries to the leg muscles, crippling his movement and offense with his legs. Add that to the bleeding and Reiko's edge in speed and Echo may have been in trouble.

The attack had been a success; everything played out like the platinum haired warrior imagined it would. In his head he commended himself for a job well done. If this was a regular match Reiko would have came of supreame and he would be able to get a few minutes of rest before his next fight. As for Echo he would need something to numb the pain in his legs and some prosthetics. Luck was not on Reiko's side this time around when the platinum haired warrior saw that not only did a cry of pain escaped Echo's body but his body did not even flinch after Reiko's attack. The platinum haired warrior was well aware of some of the categories that he exceled in and was inferior to when it came to Echo. But an attack like that should have been an instant K.O. "What the hell?..." his mind wondered while his eyes were widened at what he saw. The platinum haired warrior was unaware of the majin species and the talents that the race posessed. If he was still alive and was training under Sonya that would have changed. He would have also have been absent in this tournament, training until Sonya felt that the time had arrived. But there was nothing he could do about that now. Reiko was going to still continue the fight trying his best to let doubt enter his head.

Echo could be defeated, Reiko just had to put in more effort. Reiko switched back to reality when Echo's legs came to life and divebomed towards him. The platinum haired warrior acted quickly, slinging his left sword in the air as it spiraled in multiple rotations; long enough for Reiko to conjure A basic Ki blasts(an energy wave technique in the Dragon Ball franchise. It is the most basic and common form of energy wave. Its power is usually determined by the amount of energy put into it, or the person using it) towards the legs when they were close enough to eatch in an attempt to vaporize the legs that were animated. Reiko was going to go on the offensive once more when he noticed Echo point towards him. The action didn't come with any trash talk but when the floor underneath him began to illuminate, words weren't necessary. Reiko took flight(one of the most commonly used techniques in the whole Dragon Ball Series. The result of it is that the user manipulates their ki energy so that they can levitate or fly with their feet) and shot upward like a firework in an attempt to avoid being burned to a crisp. Reiko would be at the same height as Echo when he was done soaring. "Nice weapons..." reiko complimented, referring to the beast's talons.

"Destroy me?" Reiko asked as he pointed towards his halo. "Someone already beat you to it im afraid."
