Good Evening and Thanks for inviting me to the Guild! I'm Mandy, and I have the pleasure of living with two dogs that I've had for almost 8 years now! eek One is a Shar Pei mix (Anubis) that I adopted as a stray, and the other is a Pit Bull mix (Buddha) who I adopted via Petfinder.com, which I highly recommend.

I just recently had a cat move in with me as well (Otis-he's my fiance's cat), and I've never had a cat before, so I find him hilarious, adorable, and at times frustrating... sweatdrop The pet I want most is a hedgehog, but that won't be happening for quite some time!

I work overnight, so most of my posting will be done in the wee hours of the morning, so don't feel bad about reviving my threads after hours and hours of near death - I like it! Let me know about yourselves! I have a feeling this is a pleasant Guild! 4laugh

Yes, my Buddha is very much a big fat baby. What area do you live in if you don't mind me asking. I'm in Texas, and our shelters will adopt them out to people, BUT it's very hard to find an apartment complex or housing association that will allow you to have them. I have to lie and call her a "lab mix" in order to keep her at my apartments. The interesting thing, is that Shar Pei's tend to have far worse temperaments than most breeds, and I've never had anyone bat an eyelash at Anubis.... He does have somewhat of a rotten personality, but when I got him I was very young, and single and living alone, so I was very thankful for his grouchiness. whee
