 Attack: 7% x 5 = 35 Defense: 7% x 1 = 7 Speed: 10% x 7 = 70 Agility: 1% x 9 = 9 Intelligence: 1% x 4 = 4 Shirshalla lifted her head and inhaled deeply. It was a nice cool, crisp day for a fight. Today she was sure would go well. She was fit and rested. Eager for her fight she stepped briskly forward. Her owner heading toward a ring. It was different that the ones she'd used before. How did her owner know which one to go to? Perhaps that was something only they, as humans, knew. Calmly she entered into the gate and waited. Soon enough it opened and she stepped out into the ring to await her opponent. What would the mokai be like? Shirshalla steeled herself for whatever might come.

Ai's Fighting Stats
Attack: 13x2 = 26%
Defense: 12%
Speed: 12%
Agility: 16%
Intelligence: 14% There was no letting him down today. Ai did not want to suffer the embarrassment of having to beat down one of her own ‘family’ in the illegal pits. Instead, she needed to keep up with her name here, in the regular compound, so she would never have to face that again.
Instead of JB handing her off today, he led her right to the chutes, unhooking her lead as she walked in.
“Do me proud.” He told her. Ai could hear an ‘or else’ behind those words. With narrowed eyes, she awaited the chutes to open, lunging out the moment they did. There was a difference of Ai today. Seven had knocked some sense into her. Eyeing her new opponent, the striped female would make sure she wouldn’t let this mokai get the upperhand.

Shirshalla didn’t have to wait long before a female mokai entered. When she didn’t attack right away, the black female took her time to square her up. This one was strong. She could tell that right away. Lots of experience here. Cautiously she moved to circle around, analyzing how she moved. Shirshalla knew she’d have to fight logically with this one, or she’d loose for sure.

Defense: 12x3 = 36%
Speed: 12%
Agility: 16%
Intelligence: 14% Her eyes were still narrowed as she waited for the female to attack. She was curious what was holding her up. When she never made a move, Ai decided to charge for her. It wasn’t the tactic she wanted to use, but with the flustered crowd in the stands, she knew she had to do something, and quickly. Her head bowed low as she ran right for the other, meaning to impale that blessed horn of hers in the other’s flesh.
She didn’t have the speed behind her, the underground match still wearing thin on her from before. She still charged quickly, wanting her target to feel the humiliation she had when she had loss her battle.

She had been right. This one was dangerous. Shirshalla yelped as the horns pierced her side. Infuriated the female turned to slash at her opponent with snarling fangs. Pulling herself free of the horns, she could feel the blood oozing down from the twin holes. Fortunately for her they didn’t feel deep and she could keep fighting.
Now she lunged forward with an up-swipe of her claws. She hoped to catch her opponent unaware in the jaw.

Agility: 16%
Intelligence: 14% Catching her opponent in the jaw would be one thing, but catching her unaware was another. Because of the recent lost she had faced against Seven, Ai was more vigilant than ever. It didn’t make her invincible, but it had heightened her senses for a bit. She wouldn’t fail her master again.
The striped female could see the intensity in the other’s eyes. Ai liked having fierce competition; it made fighting all the more interesting. Even the humans seem to dig the battle, as their rumbling through the compound echoed off the roof.
Although she was hit in the jaw, Ai tried not to let it phase her. She wanted to bring a paw to her tingling face, but decided against it. Instead, she dived for the other’s paws, wanting to bring her down.

Shirshalla felt her paw connect. For a moment she gloated internally, but then she got a good look at her opponent. She didn’t seem phased at all. Clearly the blow hadn’t been enough. The black female growled low in her throat. Matching the roar that surrounded them.
She had only a split second to spot the dive. Though spot it she did, she didn’t quite manage to get out of the way. Shirshalla had leaped back, but the other female still hit her front legs. She stumbled. Ducking her head she let her body fall to the ground, then using her momentum to spring her back to her feet. She wouldn’t go down that easy!

Intelligence: 14% A sense of accomplishment hit Ai, but it was short lived when the other went on her feet once more. Some mokai should learn to just stay down. She didn’t wait for the other female to make a move. Instead, Ai was quick on her feet, trying to body slam the other female quickly. If she couldn’t get her down by making her paws hurt by standing, then she would try forcing her down by multiple body slams.
With a grunt, the mokai rushed towards Shirshalla, determination evident in her eyes.

Shirshalla didn’t have much time to catch her breath. The female rushed her and she tried to take a glancing blow to the shoulder. It was stronger than she had though. Sending her staggering back a number of steps. That would leave her bruised. Shirshalla realized that she couldn’t take this mokai head on. It was time for diversion tactics.
She started yipping and racing around the ring. The female hoped to antagonize her opponent past all reason. She darted in and nipped at her heals and tail.

Intelligence: 14x1 = 14% Ai started to chase her before she realized what the other was doing. Glaring a bit she froze, hearing the groaning of her owner amidst the growing silent crowd. She knew he was upset; she wouldn’t let her opponent gain the upper hand!
While distracted, she felt small teeth at her tail, and then again at her heels. Snarling, Ai whipped around, hoping to use her horn to connect one more time before the bell rang. This certainly wasn’t her best battle, but she would still go out with a bang.

It worked, if only briefly. Shirshalla squared off against Ai as the other glared at her. Just a little bit longer, she thought. At least she hadn't sustained any real heavy damage.
Her nips appeared to be irritating the stronger mokai and she gloated inside. Tiny wounds could be more irritating that one big one. The female whirled as she came in again. Shirshalla was forced to take evasive action. This happened several more times, and the horns grazed her again shallowly. Her opponent was becoming wise to the tactic, time to change it again. The bell sounded out.
Shirshalla felt her sides heaving. Would the other attack still or go quietly? She backed toward her calling owner, never taking her eyes from Ai.
