The feeling after you've marched is the best in the world. You're sweaty and you're probably hungry, but you feel like you can take on the world biggrin
I say this because I just rode my bike for an hour and I feel that same feeling~.

it is definitely a great feeling. i'm in college marching band right now and when we get off the field it's so so so loud with applause and people hang their arms down from the stadium for high fives and aahhh it's just amazing. marching is the best. smile

I love to march! (even if my teachers yelling at us.) But it's so fun and amazing to see, or hear what you've accomplished by tons of practice with a group of people. Even if you do end up all sweaty, hungry, or sun burned. mrgreen I'll keep doing it till the end of highschool!

sad I'm going to miss marching so much when I graduate. The marching was the part of band that made me feel so badass when freshman would come up and ask if I was going into DCI.
But alas, my college doesn't offer marching band as it is a school for the visual arts (photography, paint, animation, etc)
Marching, especially drilldown, was the passage for any underclassmen. Drill down was the time for seniors to show off what they'd learned over their four years. It's the adrenaline of knowing there's a staff member right behind you waiting for you to flank wrong or move at parade rest.
I'm going to miss this.
