Appearance: At first glance, there's nothing special about Maunet, and no especially defining features that would make her stand out of a crowd. At second glance, the first holds true, and any looker would be entirely within their rights to move on. But it's the third glance, given from the corner of the eye as you turn away, that brings Mau's hum-drum features into new light. Her hair is a drab shade of brown, thick and unrestrained in a way that she finds horribly distracting. Often, the coffee locks are barely contained in a messy updo or braided pigtail; anything that keeps it away from her face. Clear, deep green eyes shine from beneath slender brows, framed by dark lashes that keep a short, natural curl. High cheekbones accentuate the gently peaked nose that tops shapely lips, often curled in an indulgent smirk that well fits her angular chin. Though her spiced olive skin, smooth and cold as stone, is unmarred by makeup, Maunet favors a number of silver ring piercings: one through her right lower lip, one in each earlobe, three more in the ridge of her right ear, two more in the left, and another through her right eyebrow. These are inscribed with several Egyptian words emotionally special and personally powerful to the young student.
Her neck is long and graceful, finding a base in narrow shoulders. Below these stretch slender, but lean arms, which at rest cross behind a broad back and unintentionally expose her bosom. Not that it can be too exposed, as Maunet is prone to wearing several layers of tops - generally tight tanks under looser overshirts - to draw focus away from her chest and shapely stomach. Garments under the torso are usually more expressive, as Mau loves her legs. She is not above wearing skirts and knee-length shorts, calling notice to wide hips, thick thighs and muscled calves. What's more, it is rare to see anything heavier than slippers on her larger feet. Given the choice, Maunet would go barefoot any day.
