xxxxxAll would be clear then Alexis's watched the two below as the blonde female situated Deke so that he wasn't hurt. Already, different scenarios were playing in her mind to what she was going to say to Kiah when she brought a broken Deke home. Hell, she didn't even know how it happened. Her mind went to the woman. Could have pushed him, but then she wouldn't be trying so hard to help him out. She would ask Deke later, maybe.
Alexis bit her lip and shook her head slightly when the woman shifted. The joke would have put a smile on her face until she saw the animal the woman had turned into. A cat. The girl couldn't judge her. She knew that not all the Grieco people bad. Keagan was proof enough of that. It was just that she was always taught that they weren't good people and did bad things to her family. This girl was helping Deke though. Really, she was shaking her head, because she had connected the dots. Why else would this girl be helping him and why else would they be out here by themselves in the middle of no where? She felt bad for him, because if he liked this girl, then he would share the same problems she felt when it came to Keagan. They just weren't meant to be. They were in different packs.
When the girl got to the top, Alexis watched her with narrow eyes. She was ready to shift if need be, though she didn't know what good it would do. The leopard would dominate over her coyote form. She didn't relax until the girl was back in her human form. She watched the girl set up the rope and when the time came, she got behind the girl and started pulling too. Rope burn wasn't the best feeling in the world. She gritted her teeth as they pulled the man up. "I need to remember to tell him he needs to go on a diet," she said, even though she knew that Deke wasn't fat. It was just pure muscle that made him so heavy.
The thank you caught Alexis off guard and she paused a moment to study the girl. She didn't seem so bad, actually. "Alexis.." she said after a moment. She figured the woman would tell her her name, and if not.. oh well. It wasn't like she would see her again after this anyways. Finally, when Deke was close enough to the top she looked over at the other female. "I'm going to need you to hold it for me. I'm going to let go and pull him up, alright?" she said. She waited for the girl to adjust herself for the weight she was about to have unloaded on her.
With that, Alexis let go of the rope and rushed over to the side of the cliff. Dropping to her knees, she reached over grabbed Deke under the arm and started pulling. He would probably get a few scratch marks from her fingers, as she had to be pretty rough with him just to get a good grip on him. It would have been easier if he had been wearing clothes. Eventually, she rolled his body over the side, and she sat down on her butt, panting. "Got him," she announced, even though it wasn't very loud. That was the biggest workout she had done in a while.
