So there's a guy on my course and he's clearly into me but I really don't like him that way. I can hardly stand to be around with him cause he's just annoying and he's creepy and follows me around and I don't know how to deal with it. He doesn't get hints, doesn't get the fact that I don't talk to him unless he says something first and even then I ignore him sometimes. He doesn't seem to notice that when he saves me a seat I go somewhere else. But I really hate confrontation. Does anyone have any advice?

Unfortunately, the only thing I can say is that you probably have to confront him if you want to get the message across. sad Sometimes, the only way that someone else will understand is if you slap them across the face with it... metaphorically speaking of course... sweatdrop

If he respects you, he will back off. If that doesn't work then I guess you have no choice but to repeat it in a meaner way. Good luck! :]

Well, I hate confrontation as well, so we have that in common, but it won't help anything being passive because he is clearly thickheaded and doesn't want to stop. SO just walk up to him and say,"Sorry, I'm just not into you." Don't mention anything about him following you because actions like that can just be natural if he likes you....

He might not realize he's making you uncomfortable by following you around. He's just trying to get your attention. Therefore, it's not very fair to bring him down harshly if he hasn't had a fair warning about it.

All of these people are right. You need to confront him about it, but if you haven't directly told him that he makes you uncomfortable, then you shouldn't be too harsh with him.
