Yin/Yang's Reprise
The tree-tall archer is a-light Fierce in her al-white fencing garb Traditionals, devotionals All dedicated on spite fire teeth And she’ll smash the sparking light bulbs Expo-spas Serial soap ringers Bend to the knee where the heel lies Pop it in the mouth like a trigger (you must work in symmetry) As you fall like broken text with the others
And the born-free voodoo child Frantic, humming “hello” As the black spandex clad prisoners Shake her by the arms Grappling, clinging With the hope that she won’t roll away to-morrow (you must earn her empathy) Alas! she’s on one
Into the battlefield, erupting volcanoes
Draw them in, flick them off
Ashes decay Mirrors reflect Smoke poring from the mouth Of the ink-slinger “O God, come out, come out, wherever you are!” Her silver friends pounding the drums The Devil’s advocate, the Lord’s enemy Her restless legs submerging with the coals
There is no piece in quiet And no quiet in peaces
the archer’s stained glass eyes As her blindfold is never tied “Aha! See there!” And the jackal-hammers commence Tear-gas anew to a stream Of endless sea-menkeys Do-monkeys No-gooders with shotguns in the ears “Any last words?”
And the clockwork monks are all howling, “One Hand Washes the Other”
And we fear nothing.
