I saw this when it first leaked...




And, I must say that I nearly fell out of my chair.

My actions weren't related to be overjoyed or happy, I was stunned. Shocked.

"What-are-you-people-thinking?!?!" Stunned.

So after an AWESOME series, Gokaiger, I really have a tough time "getting" the new look of Gobusters.

Yes, I really can't tell a book from it's cover, but I've truly never seen anything like it.

Anyone else have this same/similar reaction? Or am I just missing something? (Apparently those in the forums are excited about it...)

Gobusters certainly look odd. I've been having this sort of reaction with Tokusatsu outfits for a few years now though. Typically I will see them from early scans like this one and think the design of the suit is a bit odd or not too fitting. Then I warm up to it and either accept it when I see it in action for a few episodes or tend to like it a lot more than I thought I would. We'll have to see with this design if it ends up being something I can tolerate, or something I end up enjoying down the road.

As for the formula it will try to go with, I'm predicting it will probably be like Liveman or Hurricanger. I can't see them just doing a three ranger team anymore, and I can't see them pushing things with another team of seven+.
