The Rookery and Mail Room
When walking down behind the Main School, one will find the Rookery and Mail Room. It is an odd looking building. A huge dome roof with holes in it, while the bottom looks like a small brickwork house. The way to get there is varied, some take path from the circle around the school and down the slope, while other take a the stair way from the Dining Hall backstairs. Anyway you get there is fine, so long as you know to be careful for weighed down owls for some have been known to fall from the sky and hit people.
The Mail room itself is pretty nice, a neat and orderly place where one can send a message as well as receive one. Most students send message home this way and no owl is allows to enter the dorms or the school building after an incident with animagus owls entering the school. Thus the rookery is the only place where message owl's are sent to and out from. If a message comes for a certain student, the Bird Officer of the mail room sends a Magical Messenger Bird to relay that there is a package or message for them. It is also where, a student can send a owl message out.
