Wanda swooped down in her X-Mas-Wing. Noone was going to stop Christmas while she was around! Her ship's sensors picked up a Zero Bot on the ground. She lined up on target and commenced carpet bombing.

A roll of red shag carpeting falls from her X-Mas-Wing and bops the Zero Bot on the head.

Wanda lines up for another run and selects lasers. She dives in close to the Zero Bot before pulling the trigger. Four laser pointers, attached to the ends of her X-Mas-Wing's wings, light up, hitting the Zero Bot in its glittering silver eyes.

Wanda grins, confidently. "This is just like shooting whomp rats at home in Beggar Canyon!" she says, then presses the trigger.
A whomp rat goes flying out from the nose of her X-Mas-Wing and smacks the zero bot on its head. The zero bot falls over, no longer functional.
With a cry of triumph, Wanda brings her X-Mas-Wing back to the hanger for medals and hot chocolate for everyone.

Wanda is enjoying her post-victory hot cocoa when the base alarms go off.
"Zombie alert! Go kick their b...rains!"
Wanda climbs into her X-Mas-Wing and flies off. "Ok, R2-Deck-The-Halls, what are the zombie stats?"
AC - 13
HP - 60
"Well, the dumber they are, the harder they fall. Fire the grappling hook!"
(Attack 1 of the day)
A grappling hook shoots out of the X-Mas-Wing, conking the unlucky zombie on the head.

Wanda frowns as the zombie continues to advance toward the base and the load of Christmas presents, only slightly slowed down by the attack. "R2, next time I order the grappling hook, tie a rope to it before you fire!"

"Let's try this again." Wanda lines up on target. "Fire a grappling hook!"

Wanda watches at the grappling hook shoots out of the X-Mas-Wing... only to stop a foot away from the fighter and then dangle down. The zombie continues advancing.
(Current enemy stats: AC - 13, HP - 54)
"Bad R2 unit!" Wanda said. "I meant a LONG rope! No oil nog for you when we get back!"
Wanda's R2-Deck-The-Halls whistles sadly.

Wanda took aim at the still mostly unhurt Zero Zombie. "Ok, R2, prepare the photon cannon.". Her X-Mas-Wing flew down close to the snow covered ground, the Zero Zombie lined up in the cross hairs. At the last moment, she squeezed the trigger and pulled back on the yolk. An aluminum can, marked 'Photon Phizz' shot out from the nose of her X-Mas-Wing and bopped the zombie in the chest. The zombie staggered back but then resumed marching, ignoring the heavily shaken up soda. Quote: Attack 1 of 2 Target: Zero Zombie Armor Class: 13 Hit points remaining: 40(54 -14)

Wanda circles the battlefield. "Wait for it... wait for it..." she says. The can of Photon Phizz bursts open from being shaken up from the launch, spraying sticky soda everywhere. Unfortunately, the can took too long to burst open. The zombie had already walked out of range. "Ooh, sugarplums!" Wanda cursed. "Ok... Let's try this!" Wanda's finger stabbed down on a button marked 'Missle'
From the underside of the X-Mas-Wing, a missle in the shape of a giant human toe fired out, aimed straight at the zombie.
Unfortunately, zombies are apparently immune to puns, no matter how bad. The Missle-Toe buried itself in the snow, leaving the zombie untouched.
