For a while, I haven't seen an ATLA topic about LEAST favorite characters -- BOOM. It's here now. ^_^
My least favorite character is most certainly Katara....

Before I'm murdered, I would like to explain my opinion. The main reason why I gravely dislike Katara can be stated in 1 hyphenated word: Mary-Sue. If I hate anything in books, movies, and cartoons/anime, it's a Mary-Sue. And the second largest reason is that she has an extremely better than you attitude against practically every character that has come to cross her path.
I would immensely love to know who is your least favorite character(s) and why...
and THEN you can kill me. biggrin

It's alright; I won't kill you. This is an Avatar Guild; surely you're entitled to your own opinion????
To be quite honest, there is no character that I dislike (besides Ozai of course). There is a wide variety of characters in ATLA and they all have their own character development and those moments where you're just like 'I really wish you were real!'.
Oh! I know: Haru (with a mustache) is my least favourite character. I don't like him with a mustache. I only liked him when he did not have one; after that I was like: gonk

evil I hate all characters in the movie; The Last Air bender.
But when it comes to the original show, whee I love them all. But there are these Commander Zhao and Fire Lord Sozin. mad Totally jerks!

i agree to all 3nodding
i don´t really like katara (but only the katara after the second book), because in my opinion she seems be to much assured on herself.
But otherwise i like every character but not from the movie. surprised

I really do like all of them, in the TV series, even Azula, Sozin, Ozai...all those guys. I love hating them, and they were all needed, really. Aang pissed me off sometimes, as well as Dock/Shoe/Booshi? that guy. But really, they all really were pretty fantastic, needed, and made for a good plot. No, a great plot. Sorry.

That I can't really answer. I just love all of the characters on the show! There just different in there own ways of character. Thats what makes them special. I can't have a least or most favorite character because there all special in there own ways. cat_smile

i really didn't like Mai, partly because she and Zukko are the worst couple ever, but she was just way to depressing for me, sh did have some nice moments but overall not my fav character
