Kromli led Tinuviel up the hill, excitedly looking back to make sure that she wasn't having any trouble keeping up. He didn't mind the cold, since it meant that he was getting closer to his home, the place in which he felt most at ease. With each stepping-stone, which he never felt right about actually stepping on, his excitement mounted and he thought over which movies he might watch with her first.
He approached the gatehouse and explained the situation to Yinzar, asking Tinuviel for her card and showing it to him. Yinzar grasped the card in his stubby fingers, as his beady eyes went from the picture to Tinuviel and back several times, a piece of jerky sticking out from between his bottom teeth, before he nodded and pressed the button that opened the gate.
"Yinz kin gowan inna gildhause," Yinzar gutturally intoned.

Considering that the distance between the library where the two met to study and the manor itself was so negligible, Tinuviel was somewhat surprised that the two had never bothered to travel there before. Granted, today it was only at her suggestion, having stated that the two seemed to have grown distant after the ceasing of their regular quests, only meeting to study Elven once a week.

Tinuviel, remaining a somewhat clumsy individual, spent most of the walk uphill looking at her feet and the stepping stones that made the path considerably easier. Upon them were various draconic images, signifying who the master of the house was.

Upon reaching the gatehouse, she was startled by the requirement for identification, as she did not make it a habit to carry such things around with her, as she rarely needed it, not purchasing vices with age-restrictions. She fumbled around in her satchel, presenting the first photo ID she could find, which, luckily enough, was the one that the ogre had requested. As the ogre opened the gate and motioned for them to go through, Tinuviel silently followed Kromli inside, hoping to avoid Matasoga, who likely would disapprove of her being there.

He led her forward, to the great Victorian doors, and paused just a moment before opening them. The warmth and the soft, light scent of smoke wafted out to greet them, as he stepped inside with her and closed the doors behind them.
He was quick to proceed into the Common Room, which was empty, save the staff and Shanderaa, who was at the bar. Still, he didn't like to be the center of attention, and so quietly said, "There are all sorts of places we can go, if you don't want to watch a movie right now."
He beamed and said, "This house has everything... I love it here."

Noting that Kromli ignored the individual seated at the bar and seemed interested in showing off the house, Tinuviel replied, "Why don't you show me what you love so much about it, then?" She hoped that he would have reasons other than Matasoga to enjoy the place he called home, but was genuinely interested in being given the Kromli-led tour.

Shandy sat at the bar sipping her drink, a long night of running about towns having more than warranted it. She looked over her shoulder, noticing the two, and nodded and waved in acknowledgement before turning back around.

Kromli saw the motion from the corner of his eye and waved back, but thinking that she wouldn't want to be bothered with further interruptions, he left it at that.
"Well," he started. "Let me show you the movie room first." Without thinking, he took her hand and quickly walked to the elevator, hardly able to contain himself.

Unsure as to why he bothered to ask what she wanted to do if his intention to watch movies would remain priority, she hesitated a moment, then said simply, "Okay."
