As we soar walls, every siren is a symphony
Life goes on
It gets so heavy
The wheel breaks the butterfly
Every tear, a waterfall
It gets so heavy
The wheel breaks the butterfly
Every tear, a waterfall

Misa knew she had asked Gil for his opinion. An honest opinion. But what she had gotten, she hadn't wanted. She didn't like it. Evil? Death? Fear? How...How could Gil have gotten that? What had cause him to be like that? So dark and untrusting. So paranoid and suspicious, when really the true source of hate was himself. Where did he get all these things?
Fear struck through her. Gil was always talking about how everything that wasn't in the district was dangerous. How anything she liked was a danger. Well right now. The only thing that was a danger to her. Was sitting right next to her. Squeezing her eyes shut, she tried to keep the dark, hateful images from her mind again, and her hands from shaking. But it didn't stop her from shutting the book closed abruptly. She set the book aside and pulled her legs up, hugging them to her. "I...I-I'm sorry...I'm j-just a b-bit shocked is all..." She stammered in a quiet voice. Misa didn't look back to meet her brother's eyes again.
"Gil...Your mind...It's very dark in there. There is no trust. Filled with hate and fear. Blinded by the unknown." She murmured, closing her eyes softly once more. But she continued on. Even though it was in a soft voice. "Closed off. Believing nothing is as it seems. Like everything you've ever known is how it should be. Like life is as cut and dry as paper. Gil, your mind. Your thoughts. They scare me." Then Misa finally met his eyes. "If you want to see things through my eyes, Gil. You have to stop that. Stop thinking everything wants to bring death to us." Gil needed to open his mind. If what he had said he wanted was true. Maybe something really was troubling Gil. If she had a mind as dark as his, she knew she would want something comforting and light. Was Gil depressed?

And every tear's a waterfall
In the night, the stormy night
She closed her eyes
In the night, the stormy night
Away she'd fly
She closed her eyes
In the night, the stormy night
Away she'd fly
