Fighter: Use various weapons to fight ranging from bows and arrows to war axes.

Barbarian: Fight savagely using their rage and large weapons.

Knight: A fighter (sometimes wizards and clerics.) That follow a specific moral code. (Will put it in the next post)

Wizard: Use spells they have learned over the years through study and memorization. Some wizards have scrolls and spellbooks to help them remember. With wizard spells they need to speak the spell in the language of magic. There are 4 kinds of wizards white, red, black, and gray. (more will be explained in the next post)

Sorcerer: Unlike wizards sorcerers can perform magic without studying, memorizing, or verbal command. The magic comes from their bodies not the Gods so they are seen as abominations by wizards and feared by some of the other classes. Sorcerers are often full of themselves and hope to one day become as powerful as the Gods. There is a price to their power, a sorcerer doesn't live as long as most because their magic is driven from their life force because of this they are searching for a way to extend their lives or become immortal. [Note: Using magic is a very pleasurable experience for the caster regardless of whether they are wizard or sorcerer]

Rogue: Aren't necessarily thieves, but are experts at disarming traps and lock picking. Almost all Kender adventurers are rogues. rouges usually dual wield swords or daggers in combat.

Cleric: A cleric is a priest with a weapon, They pray to their God or Goddess for a sort of magic. Clerics can bless weapons for a God or Goddess, heal, or depending on which God or Goddess attack using prayer. All have a 'holy symbol' of their God or Goddess on their person. (More explained below.)

The Knight's Oath, The Vision, and Magic

The Oath

Both the Knights of Kethenica and the Knights of Takimit swear to an Oath, but the Oaths differ slightly in certain areas.

Knight of Kethenica

1. My Life Before My Honor (Ones honor is more important than one’s life)

2. Always protect the weak.

3. Never attack an unarmed foe.

4. Never lie to anyone.

5. Honor the dead, even if they were your enemy if they fought with honor they deserve an honorable burial.

6. Never sneak up on the enemy, address your opponent in battle before fighting.

7. If you swear on your honor as a knight you will do something regardless of what it is you must do what you promised or lose your honor, rank, and are then discharged from the knights for breaking your oath.

Knight of Kethenica Sects

Knights of the Crown: Dragon riders

Knights of the Rose: Clerics of Baladine

Knights of the Sword: Fighters/foot soldiers and cavilry

Knights of Takimit

1. My Life Before My Honor (Ones honor is more important than one’s life)

2. If you swear on the Vision or your honor as a knight that you would do something regardless of what it is you must do what you promised or lose your honor, rank, arrested, then executed for breaking your oath.

3. Never attack an unarmed foe.

4. Never lie to anyone.

5. Honor the dead, even if they were your enemy if they fought with honor they deserve an honorable burial.

6. Never sneak up on the enemy, address your opponent in battle before fighting.

7. If you invoke the Vision by stating 'I wish to invoke the vision in this matter' you are free to speak your mind even to a higher officer freely. This is not to be taken lightly. Invoking the vision should only be done when defending a fellow knight whose honor is being put to question or similar scenarios.

The Vision & The Knights of Takimit

The Knights of Takimit aren't just warriors and clerics like the Knights of Kethenica. The Knights of Takimit are broken up into 3 different sects each a different class. Knights of the Lily (Fighters), Knights of the Thorn (Gray robed wizards), Knights of the Skull (Clerics of Takimit). Though the sects are of different classes they work together as a whole which is probably why they have been winning in the most recent war, but they all share something in common, The Vision. Once someone becomes a Knight of Takimit they receive a vision from Takimit herself showing them their destiny. Each person has their own vision, some more confusing than others.

Magic

Wizards

White robes: These wizards worship Lunitari and draw power from the sliver moon (Lunitari). They use white magic and are only able to use spell components for white magic and basic spells.

Red robes: They worship Solinari and draw power from the red moon (Solinari). They use neutral magic and are only able to use spell components for neutral magic

Black robes: They worship Nuitari and draw power from the black moon (Nuitari) that only they and gray robes can see. They use black magic and are only able to use spell components for black magic

Gray robes: Knights of the Thorn are hated by the other wizards because they exploit the power of all three moons and can use all forms of magic white, neutral, and black.

Aside from the Gray robes each wizard sect has its own Tower of High Wizardry to teach young wizards magic, but the wizards who make the decisions are the Archmages of these towers, they meet at the Tower of Wayreth and are known as a collective. "The Conclave." They only meet in times of crisis or when new wizards take "The Test." Before a wizard offically become a wizard they take "The Test." The Test is when the members of the Conclave make a very intrecate illusion and during this illusion the would be wizard is given a choice. Depending on what the person does what robe they wear will be decided.

Sorcerers

Dragon Magic: Dragon Magic Sorcerers are called such because they have the ability to use breath weapons like dragons. They wear robes that are the same color as the chromatic dragon breath weapon they first mastered. (Ex: red=fire, blue=lightning, green=poison gas, white=ice, and black=acid)

Chaotic Magic: Chaotic Magic Sorcerers can control the elements in their magic as well as certain life forms to an extent (summoning). They wear a robe of mixed colors.

Sorcerers don't have a powerful group like the wizards, however the few there are set up the Magius College. To train all magic users in the art of Magic Sorcerer or Wizard, unfortunately the wizards turned down joining even though the college was named after the most powerful wizard as a show of good faith.

Cleric's and Prayer

As stated above Clerics battle through prayer and brute force and of course heal. Here I will show what powers Clerics of the certain Gods have through prayer. (Will put more at a later time)

Clerics of Renaxe aka Death Callers: The Death Callers worship the Raven Queen and strive to protect the dead from abuse. The Kenku Tribe are realized as the closest people to the Raven Queen and are known to become clerics for her, however some humans also become Death Callers.
Prayers: Death Callers Send souls to Renaxe so that black robed wizards and liches can't abuse them, can call upon the souls of the dead for information, and their healing prayers do damage to undead.

Clerics of Baladine aka Knights of the Rose: Knights of the Rose are the Knights of Kethenica's cleric sect. They worship Baladine and like the other Knights of Kethenica honor their Oath.
Prayers: Knights of the Rose bless weaponry and seige machines before a battle, tend to wounded knights, and fight in battles.

Clerics of Takimit aka Knights of the Skull: Knights of the Skull are the Knights of Takimit's cleric sect. They worship Takaimit and like the other Knights of Takimit honor the Vision and their Oath.
Prayers: Knights of the Skull bless weaponry and seige machines before a battle, tend to wounded knights, and fight in battles.

Clerics of Materia: Clerics of Materia worship Materia and the world as a whole. Ususally dwarves, it is rare for any other race to be a cleric of Materia, however not unheard of.
Prayers: Clerics of Materia bless statues, bridges, crafted things, mines to keep them safe. They may pray so that they can bend the earth and other creations of their Goddess to their will in a way similar chaotic magic only through prayer. (excluding water).

Clerics of Salean aka Wave Callers: Wave Callers worship Salean and as such honor the ocean. Wave Callers are usually sailors, slithers, and sahuagins.
Prayers: Wave Callers pray to clean poluted waters, bless ships for safe voyage, heal through the use of water, and allow them to manipulate water.

Clerics of Vormosh aka Liches: Liches worship Vormosh and are unwaivering servants to his unholy will. Liches were once one of the intelligent races who sold their soul to Vormosh for money, power, or any other reason their heart desired. When they died their body rose from their grave to serve Vormosh as a rotting corpse never to know what the afterlife possibly held for them.
Prayers: Liches prayers raise the corpses and souls back to live, cause pain, and disease. Though they can heal the undead their prayers harm living beings.

Clerics of Aranas aka Wood Shapers: The Wood Shapers worship Aranas and follow all of her teachings. They respect nature and all of it's beings. Treants, spriggans, elves, and some humans become Wood Shapers.
Prayers: Wood Shapers prayers restore parts of nature that have been destroyed, allow them to coax plants to move the way they want, and can heal people with various herbs
