Bronzong

Hey there mambers of the Pokemon Wifi Federation! Chaos here with December's first PotW, Bronzong! Read on and enjoy the wonders of this floating hunk of psychic metal.

Heatproof: Damage from Fire-type moves and BURN is halved.
(DW)Heavy Metal: This Pokémon's weight is doubled.

Bronzong is a fun Pokemon with quite the extensive movepool. As such, there's quite a few ways to really get the most out of Bronzong. Here's a set that I am personally quite fond of.

Tricksy, Tricksy Slow Sweeper
EV Spread: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Nature: Brave
Ability: Levitate
Item: Macho Brace
Moves
-Trick Room
-Gyro Ball
-Earthquake
-Hypnosis

This is a very fun set to use if you manage to pull it off. With his already terrible speed stat, in conjunction with the Macho Brace, Bronzong becomes as SLOW as it gets. This makes him a badass in a Trick Room, turning him into a blindingly fast sweeper. To add the icing to the cake, we introduce the primary source of damage in this set: Gyro Ball. With its STAB bonus, 100 Base Power, and damage based on the Speed stat, this move does more damage to something that resists Steel than EQ does to something weak against Ground. Hypnosis is there to help put anything threatening out of commission, while EQ adds to coverage.

There you have it, guildies! December's first PotW, Bronzong! I hoped you enjoyed reading this half as much as I did writing it! Bye for now!

Looks like a pretty good moveset. Never thought of putting a brace on a Trick Room pokemon. xd

Hmmm I didn't think of that either (although I don't really do trick room).
Makes me want to make another one....

I've seen that set used alot, I like my personal set though.

Sassy +SpDef -Spd
EVs
252 HP
84 Atk
80 Def
92 SpDef
@Leftovers - Levitate
Earthquake
Gyro Ball
Hidden Power - Ice
Stealth Rock

For my team this works to counter my Dragons weaknesses such as dealing with Gliscore, Exctadrill, Genie/Fighting Trios and other Dragons. HP ice Really gets people off guard, it can almost 1hko gliscore and the genie trios while it also allows a safe switch in against opposing Dragons outrage and then lets me get rocks up then counter with my ice =)

I must say, LF, that your Bronzong is indeed a beastly pokemon. You use it well! Bronzongs everywhere approve of you!

Wow, Bronzong's got more potential that I previously thought.
