No, not really.

See, they didn't have a "code". They had a sense of right and wrong and morality, sure, but was it codified? Nope. The closest things they had to sins were incest, prostitution and for men to dress like women. The codified Nine Noble Virtues put forward by the AA is basically taking something the Christians have (codified morals) and applying it to the Havamal, with poor results.

I feel stronger connection to the Aesir and Vanir than I ever did to YHVH, but I'm not going to sit here and lie and say they are not cruel. They are Gods with flaws, Gods of war, Gods of sweat, blood and tears. I would be doing them an injustice to lie about their nature.

Odhinn didn't suffer on the World Tree for nine days for me to lie about him.

I've read the Elder Edda in full. I've read passages of Homer in the original Greek. I've went to school for this. I doubt alot of what you said,i tend to forget that people can be like that,yes you may know more about the edda's but the Gods don't always honor the smartest,the honor the soft loving one's,i can be harsh,but what you did,was very mean.

I know i don't know everything,Freya accepted me,you may know more about her,but it doesn't mean you're better,i understand now,that If yahweh was real,i made a mistake with him,and i can be a idiot,but i still stand with freya,cause she is the only one who took the time to speak with me.

Knowledge comes from all angles, by books, by people, by action, or just by seeing it first hand. To draw only from a few sources is like looking at a color and then telling the world what the picture is about based on that one color... used in the painting or not.(Truth or fiction) This is the problem with most people, they draw conclusions based on the smallest fragment of information.

If say you had a vision of Freya, then learn all you can about her. Find out for yourself is this the kind of person, I want to follow or someone I would like to send a farewell to? Personally, I know people who say they spoken with Satan or some other demon. To them the words he used was sweet and alluring. In truth he is nothing, but a user, a con artist, and destroyer.

It has been brought to my attention that there is some serious problems with thread. I'm locking it out. Do not continue this convo in this guild. I would recommend that all parties involved just end this convo now.
