((more rules will be added to the list if i see people telling other people wrong, or if i see it and want to include it here so others don't do it as well.))
first off, here are some rules i have:
1. you can have two characters in this section. (you can have fifty in the other section for all i care) you may have 1 meister, and 1 weapon. you can't have two of the same type. understood? and you will put them in different profiles.
2. when you make a profile, it would be helpful to everyone if yo specified if they were a weapon or a meister in the title, like this: [weapon] {Meister}. it makes it easier to see if you're following the rules, and it makes it easier for people to find partners while browsing though the names.
3. please use anime pictures for you character. i don't care about the picture of the weapon form, but i want all character pictures to be anime.
4. you will meet your partners in the gathering. please be patient. you can meet and discuss who your partner will be, but you can't start any missions until you "formerly" meet your partner at the gathering. understood?
5. be active. don't suddenly leave your partner for a week in the middle of a mission. everyone hates that.
6. fight fairly. all fighting rules apply at all times.
7 if you really start hating your partner, you can get a new one. come see me, and we'll see where it goes from there.
8 all shinigami characters must be approved by me first. send me some basic info and a sample as that character. if i approve, you can make your profile. YOUR CHARACTER CAN NOT BE REALTED TO DEATH THE KID IN ANY WAY! actually this goes for any character. your character can not be related to any of the original characters. well, for the most part, i'm okay with cousins, but just make sure it's not immediate family. but no one can be related to death the kid in any way.
9 if you want to be an original character, i'm going to make a section where you can do so. you will not need the profiles, since you already know them. you will need to stay true to their character as it was in the series, and no romance allowed, as staying true to the series. most commonly seen characters will be there, but if you want to be a original character i did not post, just tell me, and I'll (probably) let you be that character, unless of course they died in the series.
10. you can have double/twin weapons. it counts as your one weapon character. so i don't want anyone asking if they can still make double characters. you can.
11. please, please, please, twin characters post as one post. twin/ double weapon characters are usually always together, and i prefer to see them as one post. it makes dialogue much smoother, and also, pictures are usually of both characters, so it makes the most sense to have them as one post. also, please use a different color for each character, so that it's easy to tell who's speaking.
alright, here's the info!
MEISTERS:
meisters are humans with very strong soul wavelengths. they can wield weapons, and they hunt down kishin souls, or help teach younger meisters as teachers. meisters have abilities in common. you will still have to put them in your profile, simply because everyone is at a different level with them.
Wielding weapons: all meisters can wield weapons, but some are better than others. their star rating is one of the best ways to determine how good they are.
Soul perception: many meistes have it, but just as many don't. you will need to include weather or not they ave this ability, and how strong it is. no normal meister can have as good of soul perception as shinagami's. that's one of their skills is their soul perception.
Soul resonance: all weapons and meisters can resonate souls, but some can do much better than others. you have to be compatible, and have matched wavelengths to be able to perform this. as i stated, all meisters and weapons have this ability, but quite a few can't pull it off. sort of like how, early in the series, make and soul could resonate, but once their, maka lost control of it, and almost hit black star with it. biggrin

WEAPONS:
weapons are humans who have the ability to turn their entire body into a weapon for a meister to wield. there are a rare few like Justin law that don't need a meister to fight well. all weapons can completely turn into weapons, but there are some who can do partial transformations, like Soul can turn one arm into the blade of a scythe, while the rest of his body stays human. really, they only have two abilities in common.
Weapon Transformation: where they turn themselves into weapons and
Soul Resonance: where they resonate with their meister.
i'm pretty sure weapons can't use soul perception, since weapons never used it i the series. i'm guessing they can't. if i'm wrong feel free to tell me. smile
