And with that we zoom on to Christmas!!! Merry Christmas everybody! Now we'll have a fanart contest. =)
The theme of this year's Christmas fanart contest is Decorating for the Holidays!
Examples: Decorating a tree, Christmas lights (Even though they don't have electricity, lol, we can pretend.) or wrapping presents or even wrapped up as a present or tangled in their own Christmas decorations or whatever you can think of that has to do with preparing for the holidays.
As always, the contest fee is 500g.

I'd love to enter this contest, or Rath's contest, cuz they both sound like a lot of fun, but I already entered a contest on deviantart >_< I don't have time to enter more! TT^TT Oh well, good luck to everyone anyways.
Maybe if I have time later I might enter late...

Great General Wallace just plug the strand of lights into a thunder tome This was my inspiration for my entry. ~Don't tell people which is yours. =l -Nino~ 1. I signed it. 2.Everybody can easily tell whose is whose, because Isadora and I have distinctive styles and that only leaves one left. 3. We all had to ask the owners of OCs if we could use their character, so they knew even in advance which would be ours. It's a not a secret. =| -Rath

Sorry I didn't enter. Didn't really have any ideas, and while I've been online, I don't really have the time to sit down and dedicate to a group piece right now. Buh beginning of the semester RA duties! XD

Nino, the art style/medium and how the theme was use pretty much are dead giveaways for who the artists are. I don't think it matters if Rath comments on his inspiration for his work or not. It's kind of obvious beforehand.

Now as for why I didn't enter, just didn't have the time and had other obligations. I needed to finish Christmas gifts and commissions first, which I'm still not done with. (I swear I'll get your art done even if it has to be a Christmas/Chinese New Year's/Valentine's/St. Patrick's/Easter/whatever holiday/I'm dragging this joke out/Birthday present, Vika.)

It was mostly due to a lack of time due to it being the holidays, a group picture, and an awkward transition at the time. Plus I couldn't really come up with anything.

The theme just really didn't trigger a spark and if I tried to force it, I'm not going to like the results XD. So I just didn't enter cause I didn't want to.
