The European country where the Holocaust began.

Thankfully, it has now settled down. The most influencial people nowadays are the Garniers - they served the royals of the golden past as their loyal weapons. Now, they are just rich "nobles".

Little does the public know that the Garniers still help leaders when needed.

Currently, the leader of the Garniers is Medina - she took charge because Lucius and Lauren, her son and daughter in law were murdered.

Linda, Loic's sister investigates here who killed her parents.

And somewhere, hidden from even Shinigami surveillance lies The Lady of the Moon, Lucretia, grandaughter of Grand High Witch Mabaa. She hid here after nearly being found out by Death the Gal in Poland.

Loic's younger sister sat in front of a computer in her room within the Garnier mansion. The long haired girl was in the process of researching Germany's royal library about The Lady of the Moon, but no luck.

Linda sighed and expanded her search to witches. She sifted through many books before coming to an interesting section.

It discussed the beginnings of Witches and Warlocks. They were a legion of meisters who went aganist the Shinigami. It was said that Mabaa, then an exceptional meister close to the Shinigami, infiltrated the Netherworld and stole a wandering soul. She twisted it and it became what is modernly called a demon. The thing was, this was the first time a demon was removed from the confines of the Netherworld.

Mabaa used firbidden techniques that was only known to the Shinigami in order to fuse with the demon and gain its powers and knowledge.

She was the first Witch.

Mabaa called out more demons to infuse with others on her side, including the mother of the Gorgons.

But what interested Linda the most was a page that showed Mabaa's unique emblem. It was a Satanic star with a moon in the center. A moon...How was Mabaa connected with the Lady of the Moon?

Her phone beeped and she recieved a text from Loic. She eagerly check it and replied:

"I miss you too, brother. Someone told me who might have beaded the pearl necklace. If we find that person, surely we'll find where the necklace is."

Linda shuffled around the papers on the desk and scanned the internet tabs open in front of her before sighing tiredly and dropping her head on the desk.

She felt lethargic from exhaustion. She would have to continue later on.

She was about to go to sleep in the confines of her room when she recieved a text from her beloved brother.

"We need to discuss how to sell the necklace once we attain it. The sky was incredibly blue today - how I wish you could have seen it. Will the water be clear tomorrow? Surely SC will go see it?"

Linda bit her lip as she lay down on the soft bed, wondering how to respond.

"SC is more interested in feeding the birds, no matter how clear the water is. Perhaps when the water is completely clear, in a fortnight. Pity, though, I will have to speak to the beader myself."

Medina was keeping a tight eye on Linda, and the light eyed girl knew it. She did not have everything ready yet, and she needed to prepare more before going to America too. She had to get the guard/spy sent by Medina to watch the girl to get drunk and use Soul Drive to shock him into a deeper stupor. It was the only way she could come here.

Linda might shake Medina off in two weeks time. But for now, she would settle for completing the research alone...
