Background Story: I am one of the last my tribe. The tribe was located deep in a mountain, hidden away from the world. The tribe was a prosperous dragon tribe, full of intelligent minds. They mastered all kinds of magic and technology. The tribe was on the verge on discovering a new type of versatile metal, using special ore located deep in the mountain that they lived on, but they were attacked. A rival tribe found their location and attacked it, destroying generations and generations of research and technology. A handful managed to escape with technology and some scrolls, including my mother. who was still pregnant with me at the time. However, they all went their separate ways, not wanting to get caught together. My mother fled to a village far away from our home, and she settled down there. Not long after, I was born. Mother showed me many things, magic, science, yet, the only thing I was interested in was our history. She told me stories of my father, who was making great strides in developing the versatile ore. Decades past, and I grew wiser with each year, learning more and more about magic and technology. When I turned one hundred, my mother gave me a dagger. The dagger was made form the fang of my father, which he lost in a fight against the rival village long before they attacked. I took the dagger, and promised my mother that I will find our brethren, and reunite us once more. Later that year, I left. It has been 25 years, and I have yet to find a fellow Halfling, however, I remain hopeful that one day, I will find them.
