**Renee Mays** & **Star Streak**

Renee walked through her house, cleaning a bit before going out. Star Streak walked around her, watching in fascination.It's not the first time you see my do this, so why is it so interesting? She asked the large cat. Star Streak mewed. Because I just like watching you. Renee giggled. Sure, sure. You just like watching me run around making sure everything is in its place, like some crazy psychopath! She said back to the cat, her pitch black tail swaying slightly. Yeah...you're right. Star Streak replied, mewing happily. Renee gave the cat a death glare. That is the last time I give you some of my salmon for dinner! She said menacingly. The cat's eyes widened before Renee laughed. Ha! Got you! She said through her laughter. Star Streak jumped up on to Renee, knocking her over. She stood triumphantly on her chest, mewing. Why you little... Renee hissed, her eyes glowing with anger. Star Streak hopped off with a frightened mew, Sorry! before running off. Renee got up, dusted herself off, and continued cleaning, smiling to herself. Well that was easier than I thought it would be! She thought. Renee finished her cleaning and washed her hands. She went up to her room to change. I'll be back in a few hours with lunch! She shouted. Renee knew Star Streak would hear her. She walked out of the house, her bag over her shoulder, wallet full of her most recent paycheck, and into town. I haven't had a nice long walk in a while, so I think I'll just walk everywhere today! She silently declared. Renee walked with an air of confidence, silver hair swaying, shoes clacking on the ground, and a smile on her face.
