My boyfriend said that having sex hurts his 'member'.
Is this normal?

Dryness is the most common cause of pain during sex. Women usually feel the pain more often than men. But men certainly can feel it too. The skin on their p***s can even tear and bleed from the friction, just like the inside of the v****a can. So try a water-based lubricant and see if that helps.

We've tried lubricant before and it doesn't help him at all.
He's uncircumsized and everytime after sex he has to get the foreskin to go back to normal. Also, a couple times his p***s has actually bled a little, even with lubrication.

He should talk to a doctor about it then. Sometimes a guy's foreskin will be too tight, and he'll have to have it stretched or cut a little so that it move easier without it pulling, and tearing, and causing pain.

Okay. Thank you.

His foreskin does not return to normal during intercourse? If his foreskin is tight, he may have phismosis, which is tightening of the skin and he'll need to do stretches and probably apply a cream to fix it. Generally, cutting isn't necessary to fix it. That is odd he is having issues with lubrication having a foreskin since that's part of the function of it is to help keep him lubricated. I would highly suggest him speaking with a doctor.
