Isaac had no way to know what Row was thinking, but that was in every way for the better. He would have been frightened and lashed out with his powers-- minimal in their use and probably dangerous with this many people around... and inevitably useless against Row. His powers worked on will, they would do no good against someone who could override such a thing.

He would have cried and begged to go back home. He didn't want to become a hero, he just wanted to be normal, he just wanted to keep his powers subdued. Mr. Good Vibes might not have understood that, but even if he did it was probably too risky to let Isaac be sent off to that school.

And that would simply be a terrible thing.

Isaac looked back up at Row when he muttered something to himself, but he didn't catch what it was so instead he took another sip of his tea because when adults wanted you to hear something they didn't tend to mutter like that.

A cute puppy, though? Isaac frowned like a grumpy child (which he really was) when Row pinched his cheeks and he shook his head a little when they were let go. Still, the annoyance of being pinched on the cheeks was gone in a moment. He shrugged when dogs were mentioned-- if he was a dog, he'd have found an owner-- that made him smile the more he thought about it, complete with his own little cartoon playing out in his head.

He fished his tea right as the whistle sounded and handed it back, quickly glancing out at the docks before looking back at Row when another magic trick was mentioned. Another? He wondered what it would be this time.

Isaac took a half-step towards Row to make sure he wouldn't miss a thing-- he didn't want to miss an of it, not a moment. He followed he hat very closely, his blue eyes again as wide as they could be.

One way, and then another, and up in the air-- and then it was yellow, and he again jerked back a little in surprise; just for a split second he lost track of things before Row had caught the hat and was bowing down to a cheering Isaac.

It was only when his hand was taken that he settled down, smiling and giggling when his hand was held and kissed-- and to be called Sir Raziel, well that just made him laugh and smile, because no one ever bothered to call kids that and it... it just made him happy.

"Bye, Mister Row," he replied softly, once more hugging the man. "I hope I get to see you again soon." Not so much hope to see you again period-- Isaac was young, he never expected not to see anyone ever again, everyone always ran into each other eventually, right?

"Soon, okay? Be good until then. And safe, Mother always says that you should wish for people's safety before they leave and you don't know when you see them next, so be safe, okay?"

The child hugged him, and Row was a bit guilty that he tried to hurt the child previously. "Me too" and he patted the little boy's head. "I hope we see each other someday." he said but in his mind, "I surely hope not, we both endanger ourselves. When we meet, without a doubt it's going to be different."

He nodded and tipped his yellow hat to say goodbye. As he turned away from the boy and got mixed in the thick crowd, Row's expression changed into a murderous look with piercing eyes. He was meeting someone in this pier. Time for work again. He used his powers to the five people standing near him that they won't notice anything unusual, won't do anything weird and they have to escort and protect him 'til he reaches his destination. Instant recruitment. Civilians are easy prey, especially weak tired minds from a trip. And in his mind Isaac is the same, that he could easily use his powers against the kid, he just did not will it.

Row then slipped the white blank mask on and removed his jacket. Crantel is hot no? Yellow hat, white blank face, Mr. Good Vibes was in town to do business. Hopefully there are no heroes around, right?

"Uuuuuugh...>>Why did they make me arrive an entire hour early<

Clowrey let out another groan as she set on the dock bench, slumped and bored out of her wits. To make up for an...accident she had 'presumably' caused, she had been given the task of greeting and escorting a new student. Someone named...
She checked the board she was holding--'Issac Raziel'.
">>But why did they make me come here so goddamned early< she bemoaned again in Tasean, the latter part in English. She was, for the most part, tired of waiting at the chilly docks and getting bothered by seagulls and seafoam...The waters here were different from the island and her home and the fishy smell sort of bothered her sensitive nose...But at last! The ship was arriving!

Clowrey stood as the passengers started to descend from the boat, holding up the sign. 'Wonder who this Issac is, anyhow...'

Row went off on his own with Isaac oblivious to what happened shortly after their separation. Instead he had turned his eyes out to shore, scanning for anyone who seemed to be waiting there for him. He had not been told who it would be or what they would look like-- he guessed they really didn't have a set person for that-- but they were supposed to have a sign.

It took him a bit to spot Clowrey among the crowd, but he waved a hand and called out to her excitedly as soon as he did.

"Oh! Over here!"

He picked his traveling up with both hands and meandered his way as quickly as the heavy bag would let him towards the ship's mooring. He was about to call out again when he remembered his manners. That was rude of him and would make a terrible impression, wouldn't it? He'd introduce himself when he was face to face with her.

    "Eh? . . .
    >>No way<<..."

She didn't quite believe it, once she heard someone calling out to her, but the voice had sounded awfully...small, for lack of a better term. And the she realized why, as young Issac hurried over to her. She blinked a few times, staring at the 8-year-old boy in surprise. 'He's just a kid!' Clowrey thought to herself, giving a quick glance over. Baby fat cheeks, shorts and suspenders, and...was that a teddy bear?
'Oh god this kid is adorable.'
Clowrey smiled brightly at Issac, stretching out a hand as she greeted him, "So you're Issac Raziel...Nice to meet 'cha--My name is Clowrey! Did you have a pleasant ride over? We gotta take another boat to get to the school though...So if you wanna rest first, that's alright."

Isaac smiled back at Clowrey and lowered his bag to the ground to take the hand as soon as it was extended to him. He shook it gently and was about to introduce himself when she did first. That was a little surprising (but not unpleasing) but he still had to subdue a tiny laugh.

"Yes, Miss, I am. It's nice to meet you, Miss Clowrey." Isaac smiled and glanced back at the ship for a moment-- "It was a good trip. I made a friend."

He let go of her hand and lowered his teddy bear to sit on top of his bag. "I don't know where he's gone though. That's okay though, I'll see him again some time. But no, Miss, I don't need to take a rest but thank you for the offer. I think... I just want to get there while I'm still feeling brave."

'Still feeling brave'? She wasn't sure what he meant by that, though thought it best to not push on that envelope. "Uhm, if you say so," she started again, "Well I guess we can start heading over to the Academy now...Need any help with that bag?" She glanced up when he mentioned about making a new friend, but thought little of it or about the other passengers coming out and leaving. Though she saw a group of about 5 leaving together...but gave it no second thought.

Isaac nodded, not realizing that she didn't really understand what he meant. (That was probably for the better though, it wasn't really being very brave to tell everyone he was so frightened.) When asked about his bag, he picked it back up-- again with both hands, because it was pretty heavy--

"No Miss, thank you. I could never ask you to carry my luggage, it is my responsibility and it would be rude of me to ask you to carry it for me."

Isaac cut his sentence off a little sharply, a blush creeping into his cheeks. Part of why he hadn't fit in so well had been because of his attitude, so... maybe he should try to keep that in check... ...

She let out a soft laugh, letting her hands fall onto her waist--"But you're not asking me! I'm offering," she corrected, finding how Issac being so polite very endearing. However, watching a young boy lug that large bag around was...not something she wanted to do. "But if you think I'm pestering you, I'll hold off...Only if you're sure you want to carry that heavy thing all by yourself, okay?" she asked one more time. Clowrey caught his blush--"Kyaaa~ >>So cute~<<" she muttered.

"Well... they both end up with you holding a heavy bag yourself, and I don't like the thought of that, Miss. You're not pestering me though, please don't think that. I just think that I'm capable of doing it myself so it would be rude to pass it along to another person."

Isaac flashed her a smile and shrugged. "Besides, Miss, I think I'm setting myself up for a bunch of difficult things at the Academy, so carrying the bag is probably one of the least difficult things I imagine I'll be doing soon.

"Hmm... so we're taking another ship, right? Which one is it? Is it a small ship? The last one was really crowded."

She gave a defeated sigh, but wasn't too bothered or upset by his decision. It was his choice, and she had no right to intrude on it, no matter if he was just a little kid..."Yeah, a small ship--It actually should be arriving in a few minutes on that boarding dock over there," she pointed towards said dock, and speak of the devil--That very ship was coming over at this moment! "So Issac, you're about to take your first steps onto the Academy in just a little while..." she started, as they got onto the boat. "You feel excited about seeing a new place?"

PostPosted: Mon Nov 28, 2011 5:00 pm
Isaac frowned a little-- just a little-- when Clowrey sighed. He didn't mean to upset her, but his morals were a little conflicting. Still, it was important to him and he hoped she'd understand.

A small ship... one that had just docked. His stomach churned as he climbed on board and he almost missed what his escort had said.

"Huh? Oh-- I... yes. I'm excited I suppose, yes..." He nodded and took a deep breath, putting his bag down almost as soon as he could. He did so not because it was terribly heavy, but because he wanted to move his hand to his pocket so he could curl his hand around the flower.

"Yes, Miss. I'm excited for it."

"Heh. Alright...It's a pretty cool place, y'know and..." As they traveled over the waves, Clowrey spoke a little about the school and the large cafeteria and the gym...The beautiful beach and clean waters, and how there was all these pretty shells. She always figured it would help a new guy, if they learned about a place from someone just like them--After all, it was barely 3 weeks since she first arrived to the place herself. She didn't remember if she had been worried or afraid at the time...In fact, it probably never hit her at all that she was going someplace entirely new, away from all the familiar things of home. And now it was too late for that. But...surely, to talk about it a small bit, was comforting in some way. Even if you weren't afraid in the first place...
