It's me, KeJoRo, one of the two vice-captains in the guild.
I would have posted this in the main area, but it occurred to me that it would be best placed in here, as it is quite a personal post. Those not wishing to hear personal stories may skip over this and simply take my apology, whether accepted or not, and the knowledge that I am back.
While I can't say what has became of our Captain, Insomnesiac, or our other Vice-Captain, Hatmaster, I believe I owe you all an apology and an explanation for my absence.
Simply put, it has been an awful month for me. University work caught up with me, not in the least helped on its way by the Student Finance people screwing me over by not paying my fees, meaning that I had to sort the finances myself. Which is to say, I had to do all that was in my power to get Student Finance to give me the loan I applied for over a week before the deadline, as there is no way I can afford to pay for it on my own.
My uncle's health rapidly deteriorated about two weeks ago, leading him to be put in hospital. While he was seeming to get better, his body suddenly shut down. His mind was working perfectly before he died and to all those around him, it was clear he did not want to go. Because of work, I never got a chance to say goodbye. He was burried a week later, which was Wednesday just gone.
I started playing Skyrim as soon as it came out, playing it obsessively to take my mind off everything, to the detriment of everything else. I haven't had more than three hours sleep a night for the two weeks, partly due to this game, partly due to my own thoughts keeping me awake.
Some of you may have spoken to me in the last few weeks and won't have known a thing was wrong. I'm sorry if you feel as though I've deceived you in any way. I'm not very good at sharing my feelings in a one-to-one manner. I'd much rather keep someone I'm talking directly to in the same state they started talking to me in.
I feel better now after getting this all written out. There are other things on my mind, but they can stay there for now.
Tl;dr, I'm back now, sorry for the delay. I'll get started on accepting GM applications tomorrow and I'll send out an announcement announcing the resurrection of the guild.

It's been a while. I'm sorry, guys, but the idea I had for a new game is ... overcomplicated, and I am not sure it can be reasonably done. So I'm all out of steam. I know I guaranteed my submission but well... s**t happens... and I don't want to submit a potential trainwreck of a game without something running against it that you guys can vote for instead. And plus, my interest in Gaia has been seriously dwindling, so I can't be your GM forever anyway. Therefore, don't wait up for me. I hope someone else can do it, sayonara and have a happy holiday!
