After a few minutes Natalia managed to calm down enough so that she wasn't crying anymore but she didn't move away from him. She just kept clutching him like if she let go he would disappear again. "Where were you for all these years Lu-" her muffled voice started before she paused. "...Do you still..." She wasn't sure if she should ask if he wanted her to call him Luke or Asch. If it was up to her she would call him Luke but what if he was using Asch as a codename to hide from his kidnappers?
When she thought the name 'Luke' in regards to a person, two faces, completely identical except for expression, came to mind and she wasn't sure how to straighten that out yet. Maybe Luke, Asch?, would know who the one who was her fiancee for seven years was.

The question she started to ask would be a difficult one to answer, but then the topic swtiched to his name. Which made that topic a bit easier since he wouldn't have to correct her.
"That isn't my name anymore. I'm Asch now." This was said with an edge of bitterness to it. His name had been changed, and he didn't want to be called Luke anymore. He didn't want to hold onto his past, that was evident by his name change, but it still haunted him.

It was both hard and a little easier to hear that he didn't go by Luke. Hard because it made it clear that he had changed a lot and she had to gt to know him again if she wanted the same closeness, and easier because it did help sort things a bit. "Alright. I'll make sure to try an call you Asch then." Natalia promised.
"...What can you tell me of where you have been?" She went back to her previous question but tried to word it so he might feel better about offering any information on it. She would have elaborated and asked if he had been injured, happy, lonely, healthy etc. for the most part but decided to not bombard him just yet. Though one main question that kept coming to mind was whether Asch had missed her or not. And that question just made he feel guilty for not even knowing that she should have been missing him.

There was a pause as Asch silently considered her question. There wasn't a lot he could tell her without causing trouble. The information would likely get back to The Idiot, and would only give Natalia more problems.
Releasing her from his embrace, Asch turned to fold his arms over the railing beside them, his gaze firmly pointed at the ocean again. If she wanted to discuss the past, he couldn't just stand there, clinging to her.
"I was taken to another country, and started a new life." The truth but not devoid of a few critical details.

It was a disappointment when he moved away but Natalia didn't go after him for another hug this time. It was probably best to give him a bit of space after all. Instead she moved to stand beside him, placing her hands back on the railing and listened.
It was also slightly frustrating how little he really had said but then she had asked him to tell her what he could, not all of it. She let out a slight sigh and looked over at him. "And I doubt you can tell me much more then that." It wasn't a question, just a fact that she figured was true. She then paused and had to stop her self from fidgeting, remembering all the manners and behavior she had been taught. "Can you tell me why you and Luke look a like?"

No he couldn't tell her. She would probably hate him if she knew who he was with. Natalia's factual statement drew no response, but her next question caused a deep frown. Asch stared hard in front of him, brows knitting together. It was clear that he didn't want to say that either, although actually he just didn't want to admit to the truth.
"Isn't it obvious?" he asked, not moving his gaze until as he realized the stupidity of the question. Of course she didn't, otherwise she wouldn't be asking. Asch sighed irritably and then continued.
"We were born on the same day, to the same parents." That was easier to say than outright admitting that idiot was his brother.

Oh. That made sense. Natalia shook her head slightly to try and clear it. She should have made the connection sooner but with the shock of finding out who Asch really was and being so used to thinking Luke as an only child it just didn't add up before that they were, "Twins." She finished her thought out loud though it wasn't directed at Asch.
She started to fidget with her right glove as another though came to her. "Does he know? Does Guy?" She really hoped not. Not with how Guy and Luke reacted at the party. That and she would be mad at them for keeping such a thing a secret from her.

"No," Asch said quietly, frowning at the thought of Guy and... -him-. There were few people that actually knew there were two fon Fabre boys. It had been intended that way after all.
"To them I'm just some imposter." And he wasn't all that bothered by it. He had decided he wouldn't ever return to that life. It was probably better off if they didn't know... except there was that part of him that wanted revenge. That twin of his had stolen his name and now lived -his- life. He had taken everything away from him.

Natalia gave a slight frown and looked up at the sky for a moment. "I'm sorry." She said when she looked back at him and put a hand on his arm. "I'm sorry we didn't notice and that we just believed everything we were told." Had she known she wouldn't have been able to do much granted but she still felt guilty that Asch had gone through what ever his life had been alone.

There was a long silence at this. Asch spoke nothing and simply continued to stare at the water. There was nothing to be said to that. What could he say? That it was okay? Well that would be a lie, because clearly it was not okay. But at the same time, it really hadn't been Natalia's fault either... he knew that. None of them were really to blame, but then who could he blame? This was one object of great torment. He didn't really know who to blame for all the terrible things that had happened to him.
"What's done is done," he said at a last.

Asch's words didn't make the guilt go away, if anything it made it stronger because of his tone. She frowned slightly as she looked at him then after a moments pause gave him a hug. "I'm glad you are at least relatively fine." He couldn't be truly safe, not if he was still hiding, running or pretending from his kidnappers, nor was he obviously happy. Even though she was still wrapping her mind around all that she had learned she wished she could do something to help him.

Asch glanced at Natalia for a moment before continuing to stare forward yet again. "Don't worry about me, I'll be fine." She had enough to worry about already, and she didn't really need to add him to the list. There was nothing she could do about him anyway, so it was really rather pointless. Not that it wasn't nice to have someone thinking about you. Nobody had been genuinely concerned about him in a long time.

Natalia shook her head then with a determined look hugged him, though it was only his closest arm. "I have always worried for you, even if for a time I didn't know it wasn't you. Now that I do know I will continue to worry for you. So be careful alright?"
