Loic's Current Expression
Loic nodded and shot straight to the bathroom. He closed his eyes and let his head smack the door, a dull thunk was heard. He sighed tiredly and slid down, stopping before he hit the floor. Loic then opened his eyes - slightly disfocused - and pulled himself together.
He only realized how tired he was when the warm water rushed over his tense body. Jesus christ, today was - he ha no words for it.
There had been plenty of firsts today, and the german was unsure as to whether he liked it or not.
Probably the latter.
He finished and wobbled out of the bathroom, lethargic from exhaustion. He made sure that his partner was alright and found her sleeping soundly in one of the rooms. Smiling a bit, he went into the other bedroom and fumbled in his coat pocket for his phone.
The smile faded when he saw the text message. His eyes widenned considerably before his brows settled into a frown and he set his mouth in a thin, harsh line. His eyes burned with an icy fire with unexpressable ire.
"I miss you too, brother. Someone told me who might have beaded the pearl necklace. If we find that person, surely we'll find where the necklace is."
He should have been relieved.
His sister and him were one step closer to revenge, but apart fron the small amount of joy he felt because Linda had found a lead, he felt a strange animosity swell in his chest.
He supposed it was because the mere thought of being closer to killing the witch made him settle into a bloodthirsty mood. He relaxed and closed his eyes, letting the emotion pass and buried it deep within his soul.
He sent a reply and closed his phone, deciding to try his shot at sleeping.
"We need to discuss how to sell the necklace once we attain it. The sky was incredibly blue today - how I wish you could have seen it. Will the water be clear tomorrow? Surely SC will go see it?"
Loic cleverly employed their code in his text once more. He really meant that they needed to set a plan in motion of killing the witch, a basic plan. Loic needed to speak to her personally - it was too risky to talk about the lead, even in code. Was it even possible to get the message across in code?
Thus, Loic asked her if she was available to talk tomorrow - could she get rid of Medina?
They needed to do this.
