♥ Hello and welcome to Vocaloid Anthem Academy Roleplaying Guild.♥
I am Guild Captain Meiko. I wanted to set up an easygoing roleplaying forum for Vocaloid fans, or just simply roleplayers in general and meet up and roleplay. Now while it is true that there are only a certain amount of vocaloid characters available for claiming there is also a rather large number of Utau vocaloids to choose from. I wanted to give the rpers a chance to create their own threads within the subforums. But first there are a set of rules that I must go over. If you haven't noticed already I've been using musical terms for the names. ~
Rules:
1. You must be respectful to the other rpers around you. There will be no disrespecting your fellow guild members. Swearing is allowed as long as you don't get extremely vulgar with your speech. Personally I can't help it sometimes.
2. If you're going to be OOC or Out Of Character please use brackets "[], (), {}, etc" when speaking. For OOC speaking there will be a subforum placed for simple chatting and conversation.
3. Now I don't mind a little romance. I mean I'm quite the passionate woman, but let's keep it clean. If you're going to drag the mood into something more explicit take it somewhere where no one can see what's going on. Not everyone online is old enough to see certain things going on and I'm sure Gaia has a rule about Cyber sex. We don't want to see any of it.
4. No meta-gaming, god-modding. Your character is not God. You are not the almighty all powerful eternal being that cannot be hurt or killed. And you certainly cannot act for others. Acting for other's counts as saying another person is expressing or doing something which the person who is rping as the character themselves is not actually doing. You are the character that you have chosen you are not allowed to make other characters act. Leave it to them to react on their own. It seems that's where a few people fall short and just can't seem to remember or understand the meaning of this rule. You can't make anyone act or react, only yourself.
5. I understand that sometimes things get slow or replies can be cut short, but can we please try to posts more than three sentences? We are trying to keep this guild on a semi-paragraph to multi-paragraph style roleplay. No One Line Posts! And please, I know it can be hard sometimes when you don't know how to spell a certain word or can't find the right word to use. We are on the internet people. Look it up or find a Thesaurus to help find the correct word that you want to use. I understand that not many people may have crisp and clean grammar, I myself feel that my own could be much better. Though, I would at least like the posts to be understandable. We all make typos, we all make mistakes. We can always go back and fix them. Not expecting you to be perfect. Just understandable. Also please post in third person.
6. You are allowed to create your own characters either they be vocaloids or humans. It would be nice to grow a faculty for some people looking to roleplay as teachers. Please don't make a scene if you were hoping to land the pairing of your dreams and it didn't work out for you in the end. It happens. Not every person can have Miku, Kaito, or Len. (I simply say those three, because those are the ones that I usually see people making a fuss about.)
7. I am all for those who like Yaoi and or Yuri, but for those who have a problem with it? Let it go, if you see it going on. I don't want to hear the fussing about so and so not liking the fact that this person is with this person. Free love here, people. It's all up for grabs. Although, let's not stuff our opinions and lifestyles down other peoples throats.
8. Your avi does not have to match the character that you have chosen. While I do notice that some people like to post their character's photo with every post, that is fine as long as it's not taking up so much space. (Please readjust the size!) However, I would like if each person would post a photo of their character for their very first post for a thread. It's just a reminder for those who don't know you are if your avi doesn't match your character. Please use this code for the photo.

Which you can have placed on the right, left, or center. 9. Don't be upset if you didn't get to land that character you wanted to be! When and if things start getting slow, there will be a character reset and those characters that have been claimed will soon be up for grabs. You must claim your vocaloid before roleplaying as them! It's important that you do so! If you start roleplaying without claiming said person anyone can go in and claim them and you will not be able to do a thing about it. So look for the claiming Subforums and claim them before someone else does! (However I will stick to being Meiko, but if someone wants to be Meiko there is always the younger version of Meiko, Sakine Meiko)
10. If your vocaloid is going to sing a song, use the URL button on your posting screen. If you enter the link to the site it will save it and all you have to do is list the name of the song. That way it doesn't take up so much space being a full link URL and people can simply click on your highlighted song.
(( Example: Meiko wandered about her office while singing Noise. ))
11. You may as many vocaloids and utauloids as you like as along as you can keep up with them. If someone has a character that you would like to be that they're rarely using be sure to PM them and ask about it.
12. I know there are a lot of rules and you're probably thinking this is a bit much. It's set for a reason to keep everything in order and hopefully everyone happy. But for the most part... Just have fun. Express yourself, and have fun. Share the love of Vocaloids and Roleplay. The subforums are set up for you to create your own scenes with the placement settings. Make a topic and wait for someone to reply and roleplay with you. If you're having trouble with getting people to roleplay with you, speak out about it in the OOC subforum.
