Oh yea he was the master of hunting. He sashayed back into the pridelands with a huge waterbuck hanging from his jaws. Now all he needed to do was find that pretty lady to share it with. He took it and pulled it towards the place he had met her and let it drop from his mouth panting. He didn't even break the skin- well except on the neck with one swift AWESOME bite from his teeth. He was ever so full of himself...though he really wanted to be full of that water buck. He licked his lips and looked at it longingly. He then sighed and looked away from it. The lady would get the first bite- he promised.

Her pelt was freshly clean from the river bath she had, and she stretched out her body with a smile. She liked this place. She could do as she wanted, and not fear much. She would be a part of the hunting party later, but for now she was free to do as she pleased. She was going to head back to the dens, not really believing the male would be back when he said he would.
But the scent of blood caught her nose and she had to follow it. She stepped towards the smell, licking her maw as the smell got stronger. Her belly rumbled its displeasure at smelling the food but having nothing to eat.
Her eyes rested on the male again, and she smiled. Had he really brought her a meal to share with him? She hadnt really been holding her breath at ever really seeing him again. That was what happened when she was a rogue, she could only imagine its what would happen here.

"Why hello there pretty Bell." He trotted over to her. "See I brought you the biggest animal I could kill. Tell me you have not seen a better more handsome hunter then myself." He gave an eye quirk and another flashy smile. "Well you can admit that after you eat anyway. I didn't even bite it- well aside from it's neck anyway...but you know how killing works; I couldn't just mind kill it...though that would be impressive." Maybe he would try that next time...mind killing. He looked at the female and stared at her. Mind matting...Nope didn't work either. Although he wouldn't want to mind mate anyway. What fun would that be?

He was strange, and he apparently liked to ramble. She nodded, having to drone out half of what he said merely to hear the important stuff. She smiled at him warmly, thankful that she had food here that he was willing to share.
"That's very kind of you Sambi. You're such a skilled hunter." She responded, hoping that was the ego boost he needed. Though in her opinion he didnt need much of a boost, his ego was already huge.
She lowered her muzzle to the carcass, scenting it before tearing into it with her sharp fangs. She pulled bits of meat off, and swallowed them before looking at Sambi.
"Its delicious."

"I'm glad you like it." His ears were are perked up and as excited as he could hold them. Maybe he could get cubs with her now? Spread his line and move on? Or maybe she was a two meal kinda girl. God he really hoped she wasn't a mating type of girl; he really had no dedication to long to relationships. At least not at this point in his mind. He mate...spread his genes and not talk to her again- maybe he'd keep in contact with the cubs...at least the ones who had potential to worship him anyway.

"Of course I like it. It's free food." She grinned. She may have been one that could hunt for herself, but she also was an opportunist. She liked having things without much effort. She liked to think a lot of others would have wanted free food too.
She didnt have it in her mind of being his mate. If that was what he was after, seh wasnt going to just give in either. She was a smart girl, and she knew that males were after procreating. But she had no desire to be this guys baby-momma.

"So you don't like it past free food?" He scrunched a brow and looked at her. "Ah well that's ok." At least he had her hooked if he kept feeding her. "I'll give you as much free food as you want then." Till you have my cubs then your screwed. He wanted to add but didn't think it would quite make her want to jump into bed with him.
"Why don't you talk about yourself?" Females liked to do that didn't they...except this time he would at least look like he was attentive to what she had to say.

"I didnt say that. But if I brought you free food would you be complaining?" She asked, chewing a few more bites before sitting herself down in front of the meal. Men could be such babies. What else did he want from her?
"You act as if I cannot hunt for myself." She teased with an eyeroll. Though she was still smiling. She didnt mind his joking..Or at least she hoped he was joking.
"And wouldn't that mean you'd have to be around alot more?" She asked with an arched eyebrow.
"You actually care what I have to say?" She grinned and shook her head. She didn't believe him, but at least it would give her a chance to feel like she had a friend regardless of his intentions.
"What exactly would you like to know?"

The red lights went off in his head as she asked him a question he had to interact with. He couldn't just nod his head and pretend he cared. "Whatever lady things you want to tell me?" He even questioned himself...he really didn't have conversations with women. He usually just waam bam thank you maamed and left. "Lady things...you know...hair, claws, and uh lady stuff?" If he had hands to facepalm with it would have been double.

She chuckled and rolled her eyes.
"Lady stuff?" She asked, looking at him with amusement. At least if he was dumb, he was handsome. He made her smile. Thats all that was needed right? She wasn't sure, she had never been in love before. She sighed, and shrugged.
"I don't usually talk about hair or claws. Actually.. I dont really get the chance to talk to anyone." She confessed. She just had always been alone. Conversations were at a loss for her.
"I don't really have friends."

"Really?" He cocked his head. "I've never really talked to anyone as a friend either...but you couldn't tell anyway." He surfed a paw in the air. "I'm smoooooth." He then brushed back is orange hair that had fallen in front of his eyes away. His eyes looked more devious then ever before.
"I could er...be your friend...er...yep?" Friend with benefits...oh yea. Giggity Giggity Giggity.
