Right as Lucas was about to tell Kiah about Gabi's wounds, Kiah noticed a slender figure walk into the kitchen. Sabine. The doctor. He wasn't sure how she did it, but she always managed to patch up even his worst injuries. There was a few times he had had to go visit her for her medical treatment. Though, he didn't usually see her often, as he was always outside the hotel. Still, she seemed pleasant enough to be around. He nodded his head when she greeted him, then his eyes swung back to Lucas.
The other warrior explained the wounds on Gabi, which caused Kiah to frown. The one on her stomach didn't sound good. Then just as quickly Lucas threw in that he had to watch Madison as well. Kiah found it amusing to watch his frustration. "I'm job free," he pointed out, with a bit of happiness. Of course, he would help Lucas if he needed it. He supposed he was was only getting off, because he hadn't seen the Alpha's in a bit.
It suddenly got quiet and they could hear the voices of the higher ranks in the other room. It wasn't meant to be eaves dropping, but the hotel had some pretty thin walls. It wasn't nice like the North Pack's and Kiah wondered sometimes if the structure was going to fall over if the wind got too heavy. It creaked and groaned a lot, threatening to. Hearing Sabine's voice, he gave a small smile. "As always," he recalled, remembering hearing some of their past meetings. This one didn't seem just as bad. Most of the pack were very vocal on their opinions.
Hearing the suggestion from Lucas, cause Kiah to slowly turn and look at him like he was out of his god damned mind. That was just setting him up to get beat. "About that..I think I will wait," he said, slowly. He knew if he even set foot in that meeting without being invited, he would have his head chewed up. Kiah gave him an odd look, wondering if Lucas had said it just so he would get attacked or just because he was having a blonde moment. He didn't have the time to figure out, before the other man left the kitchen to go help Gabi.
He turned his attention back to Sabine, who was looking at him. Her eyes were an odd color, he though, but they suited her. Half the time they made him feel like she was looking through him instead of at him. She herself was gorgeous, but never seemed to have any interest with any of the men here. It was a shame, really, he thought, though he never ventured why. "What happened to Sadie?" he asked, recalling seeing the bandages on the other female. He assumed that Sabine had been the one to treat her.
