Kale was brought up by a single mother in the city. It wasn't a very well respected neighborhood. There was crime everywhere. It wasn't safe for him to stay by himself, but often he was left alone when his mother went to work. When he got older, Kale was introduced to the life that was offered to him. Being in such a place, he got strong when he was younger and made a reputation for himself by getting in fights whenever he could.
Kale could be considered sadistic. When he got older, he seemed to have straightened up, but that wasn't the case. He enlisted in the military and spent a large portion of his life over seas.
