Sailor V was originally 3 volumes, but I'm pretty sure in the reprints they condensed it to 2, since Sailor Moon was originally 18 or so, and now it is only 12 volumes.
I just read Sailor V vol 2 last night, and right at the beginning, I noticed something weird. Artemis likes chocolate. It must be because he's a magical cat, because normally cat + chocolate = sickness/death.

Or perhaps a shape shifter? Originally Artemis and Luna came from Mau. It's no stated whether Mau was a planet full of humans like Stephan King's Sleepwalkers that turn into cats.
Tin Nyanko called Luna and Artemis "traitors" and mention how they "abandon" it. It's not clear if they happened in the far distant future or past before they arrived on the moon to become advisers for Queen Serenity and servants to Princess Serenity.

I always assumed it happened in the past. Cause apparently they were worried something sinister was going t come from out of system, otherwise the outer Senshi wouldn't have been made nearly as strong.
Though really, it was hard to tell from what I saw. The sailor V ending kinda depressed me....

Yeah, Sailor V doomed to keep falling in love over and over and never achieve it.
Boy, do I sympathize.
