Hiku felt a huge force start to pull on his body towards the light. "W-What the..?!" His breath caught as he was swept into the light. His feet came out from underneath him. He shook his head clearing the stars that formed in his head. He rolled over as his nailed scrapped at the icy walkway underneath him. He growled and tried to reach out for anything. "GAH!!!! I HATE ICE!!! STOP PULLING ME!!!" He pounded on the ice hoping to get some hold but to no avail. His hands just bounced off the ice and left it unharmed. He cursed himself for falling into this thing. Whatever it was. He sighed hopelessly and let the pull take him. A ripple went passed him as his sight slowly came back.

Hiku smiled at the thought. 'Well at least I won't die an instant death. . . Wait. Damn that would have been easier. Oh well.' He shrugged it off. If he was going to die it's not going to be now. He spun and pulled out two of his senbon and stabbed into the side of the of the nearest object. He growled as the slipped out and thrust the two senbons back into with the rest. He pulled out his Katana and stabbed into the side of another object. The object rotated as the both went down. Once it was level with him on top he pulled out the Katana and put it back in its sheath hoping it wouldn't come out and stab him later.


He kicked off the object and flattened out level with the ground slowing him slightly. He got clipped on the shoulder by some random thing that must have fallen with all the other stuff. He grabbed his shoulder as he spun around trying to control his fall and rotation. He wished he had a kunai with some rope at this moment. He regretted the fact that he was never good with them. He spun and kicked nearest fallen thing and pushed himself to the side. He hoped this would work his opportunity window was slowly about to close. He saw a object pass him just in front. He dove to catch up to it. He landed on it just in time he just managed to jump off before it hit the ground. He tumbled and rolled. He finally stopped flat on his back and coughed as he gasped for air.

Felix felt the tug of force from the portal pull against himself powerfully, but as a reaction of reflex his boots channeled chakra into the surrounding ground and he braced himself against it, just as if he were merely digging in his heels, the chakra responded almost without even thinking. This sudden burst of control of his own surroundings surprised even himself, but it felt natural enough... more of an instinct than utilizing an actual technique.
While he was wrapped up in these thoughts though and watching the portal for any signs of a trap or whatnot... I mean who knew? Maybe going through this thing would spawn it into a vortex of death, or perhaps hell itself waited beyond. Felix was not all familiar with naka's Jutsu's, and thus was even less trusting of this technique when there was no control on it. Just as he was thinking this though a shout of surprise was heard.
Felix turned his head, eyes scanning about quickly until he spotted through the light created by the very portal another boy. This boy seemed distant at first contact, and yet familiar at the same time. As if Felix had felt the other boy's chakra signature at some point but had perhaps forgotten it... or never spent any real time with him. It was like that one smell you get when you are trying to decide if you have worn this particular shirt before, and if you should wear it... or wash it instead, because you cant remember.
Within seconds though, Felix watched as the other boy was simply jetted into the portal, slipping across the floor in a rather comical (to him at least) fashion.
The ice was all melted in the room, and so the other boy was just slipping through the puddles of melted water all about on his way there.
Felix's eyes were dilated into ovals in his predatory stage as his blood manipulation was still in effect, and so with heightened senses he watched curiously the boy's descent through space until the rather untidy landing upon the ground, the other side of the portal.
With a final shrug, he considered it must be ok then to pass through the portal himself.

And so, beside Hiku a quick flapping was heard as Felix dove through the wind... his cloak ripping through the cold wind in his fall before he landed in the cold snow beside the other boy. Felix bent his knees and rolled as he landed, absorbing most of the shock of the drop through his actions. Though his body seemed more resilient in general.
Picking himself up, he dusted off... reaching up to shake the white snow from his silver toned hair, and then down to dust off his trousers. Most of what Felix was wearing was black, and his cloak was rather thick... coming up behind in a fur covered hood that rest upon his shoulders now.
The boy glanced about quickly, turning his head this way and that, and just in general ignoring Hiku beside himself.
"...Quite the performance..." Felix nodded back up toward the portal on a mountainous slope behind himself.
"...You a ninja?" Felix glanced at Hiku curiously, but not importantly. In general his expression was rather blank and unconcerned... un-emotional. Of course, by the 'quite the performance' statement, it was meant as a compliment... but by his expression and the way it came across, it may be taken a challenge, or worse, a taunt.
"...Anyways.. we had better figure out where we are huh?" He said raising his hands at the surroundings. The finely crafted Kumo steel katana was still in his left hand, and he sheathed it behind himself then, in the sheath protruding just a little beside his hood.
As he said this, his eyes became less intense, and the predator like tint to them began to dissipate as the oval shape to them left. Leaving natural looking, but still quite sharp, silver toned iris'.

"A ninja... I wonder what that means anyway..." Felix turned from the other boy and began to walk toward the more heavily forested area below, toward the trail that could be seen weaving in between the tree's down the hill of snow. He suspected that Hiku would follow after him, and continued to listen to the other boy's story.
"..The land of fire? What were you supposed to do there?" Felix glanced over curiously. The land of fire was his own original home, if... one could say that Felix ever had a home at least. The memories peppered into his mind at the mention of the land of fire.
"Yes, Takigakure is abandoned completely ever since... well, since I stepped through that portal after you I suppose." His voice trailed off and Felix glanced back toward where they had come from... the portal was still spinning wildly out there over the hill, inviting anyone else to step through its clutches into the unknown.
"About where we are though, there are a few unspoken rules I have discovered in this world... especially following the laws of magic." Felix smiled, glancing back over at Hiku.
"...For that's what chakra is anyways... it is called many different things in many places. But one thing is certain it has rules, and one of the unwritten rules is a factor of change... in everything there is balance, so... in order for one thing to disappear, an equal cost must be applied... and if that cost is removed, then the object would re-appear correct?" Felix raised an eyebrow toward Hiku, as if the boy was supposed to be tracking with his thoughts inside.
"...So... If the previous Kage of Takigakure made the residents disappear, and if the previous Kage is now dead and gone..."
Felix shrugged his shoulders, feet crunching through the ice and snow and he and Hiku continued in their walk.

"Yes... the forest has that impression." Felix glanced up, his silver eyes picking out the speckled clouds above in the sky. The blue shone through them, testament to the atmosphere in effect.. He truly wondered what the sky was made of, and why it was blue. The wonder of the small moment disappeared as one of the many held stars in the back of his mind quickly... the feeling a memory that would hold as true as his memories of Konohagakure. It was a stranger and also a home to him at the same time, leaving a mysterious taste that caused his lips to part a second, feeling the icy wind of the region he and Hiku traveled.
"Hm." Felix grunted faintly at Hiku's comment about a person having landed them here, his only revelation about that topic. He honestly had no idea what was going on with Nakamura and why she had disappeared... however he was quite certain that she had indeed left this world, just as a spell may be forgotten.
Felix's fur lining the hood of his cloak lifted a little, the cold air alighting it for a second.
"...I don't think she's here... Nakamura is gone." His voice carried finality, his eyes shifting back to the earth with the same finality. Felix continued his walk along the path, and the two of them passed beneath the tree line, now traveling under the various bare tree's... the leaves long having left the cold of the winter in this forest. His footsteps crunching through the snow carried his only opinion of where the villagers had gone, though his eyes followed the path they were on, glancing to either side with the same mysterious silver tone that held the sky. He walked beside the other boy, witheld in himself and quite abstract... yet he seemed not astranged by the unknown company.
"My name is Felix."
