Background: The Wickhams are a very noble family from London. They are known for their strength and brutality, for they have been in charge of the royal army for generations. They answer only to the Queen herself for they our her loyal dogs.
Being the only daughter from this high class family, Mel is sort of the odd one out. Her father is a general in the military, he is very cold hearted and sees Melanie as more of a burden than one of his children. She has four older brothers that are following her fathers footsteps and one younger brother who also plans to follow them. Its always sadden her that she was never really close with her brothers, but no matter what she did she could never get them to notice her. Her mother, the only person she was ever really close to, died from illness when she was 10. That was probably the hardest things she had to deal with growing up.
Mel was never as strong as her brothers, so is never really reconized, but dont let that fool you becuase shes had more than enough training to be an excellent fighter. Years of being forced to learn martial arts, battle strategies, and weapon mastery are only some of the things a Wickham must learn.
She was excited when she found out that she was capable of becoming a meister, only a few Wickhams get this chance. Its an honor that every Wickham dreams of having, but needless to say her family wasnt to happy when they found out it was her. They refused to let her leave because they thought she wouldnt be able to do it, but she left anyways without their permission. Being addmitted in to the DWMA is helping her with her one very important goal, to prove she belongs in the Wickham family. She wants to show everyone that she belongs here and isnt just a waste of space.
She plans on finding a weapon and making it in to a death scythe, proving her strength and determination. Although she hopes to make them come true as soon as possible, but she isnt sure how well she will be able to do it. Melanie isnt use to being so close to people and frankly doesnt know how to, but to be a meister you have to let your soul get close to your weapon so that they may resonate. Its gonna be hard for her, but she will do what ever it takes to make things work.
