Layla had arrived at her classroom very early. She wanted to make it nice and neat for the students that would soon arrive. She had already changed the seating so that it looked more like an arena, with a small fighting pit in the middle, and multiple areas to add training dummies and sand bags.
Teaching blades combat would not be the first thing you would expect Lady Duskhill to be doing. She was petite and skinny compared to most fighters, but to think she was weak was a very fatal mistake. Layla was a master of dark arts, and she could wield her scythe with deadly efficiency. She would prefer to teach science or some other scholarly area, but she had the necessary abilities to teach this class, and so she would. All she had to do was wait for the students, and the other teacher. Hopefully he wouldn't be as rude as her last co-worker, she couldn't stand arrogant people.
