Dear Great Pumpkin,
First of all, I just gotta say thanks so much for being such a great and masterful pumpkin. I also wanna qualify that I totally like you better than Santa. Santa has nothing on the great pumpkin.
Now, as to my life since last halloween... I hosted the halloween event at my work this previous weekend. I got to pass out candy to kids. It was pretty fun. also, all throughout the year, I've been in my 8th going on 9th year of work in teh same job. And, this year, i really improved on attendance. I think that's really big for me. and, I've always been nice when people are mean and nasty to me.
now as to what i've done for halloween this year that should make me deserving? Well, i haven't really done as much as other people, but my finances haven't been kind due to a shortage of work hours for a few weeks. However, I did take my son trick or treating tonight. I also would like to mention that my son turned 11 this summer; and we have been trick or treating EVERY SINGLE YEAR of his life so far. We haven't missed a single one, and he is always dressed up in something that looks nice and is somewhat warm due to living in the upper mideast.
if i could wish for anything one wish this year.. it might be for either a ghost or vampire.. something that felt like classic halloween themes... something that makes me feel liek the great pumpkin is with me all year long.
