For a long time now I have thought I may had asperger's. I think of actually getting diagnosed once I'm able to do it on my own.
My friend is convinced I don't have it. She thinks if I diagnosed myself it may be an excuse ( I didn't actually diagnosed myself I said I was thinking of getting diagnosed but that's besides the point)
One of the arguments she made ( and a fairly good one I suppose) is that if i had asperger's it would affect my voice and my voice is...well, unaffected.
Is that true? Does my voice have to be a certain way in order for me to have it?
the only thing that would affect your voice is a speech impediment. so your friend is wrong, a way for you to know if you have aspergers is how aware you are of your surroundings. I can for example listen in on multiple coversations at once, another way, though it may seem childish, there is a book called all cats have aspergers that show the symptoms I noticed in me with perfect accuracy.
