Ok, I'm a little confused. So.. The current topic is theft? Fair enough. I have a spiritual Mistress. She doesn't like thieves. However, there are always grey moral areas. I guess, if it was something she honestly wanted me to take. Yes, I would steal. However, the circumstances would have to be such that she absolutely wanted that object out of it's original owner's hands.
Theft is something that has always been iffy. here is an odd fact-Libraries dont like to replace occult books because they are the most frequently stolen either by people who can't afford the books and decide to keep them or by people who can't stand that information being out there.

Here's an example. Like.. Say someone has a dangerous magical object that by possessing they endanger themselves and everyone around them. Now, this person doesn't keep track of the object out of ignorance. If I take the object and don't tell the person I am doing several people a favor.
I like that idea. I also like the idea of taking something that doesn't belong to some one to begin with and trying to return it to it's natural owner.

But, neither of us like thievery very much so very case by case scenario. I guess the big question would be whether or not it served the greater good.
What do you mean by the greater good?

As for infanticide? ... Wtf? You guys really enjoy the tough discussions around here don't you?
Actually that came out due to a discussion I was having in my ethical and moral dilemma class. Its an issue that has been acted on and had historical precedence. I thought it would be interesting to think about and discuss here.
Then stick around. There will be plenty more to come.

Um... I guess if the baby was infected with a disease that was super fatal, it couldn't be rescued and the body had to get burnt to a crisp to kill the disease. Yeah, ok. However, the life of a newborn? Very sacred. Don't kill.
Even if it meant that an entire tribe that was hiding was found and destroyed with a single cry from an infant?
