Idylla had arrived in Ina just a few days ago, and she already loved that place. She’d been welcomed with wide open hands, everyone looked at her with a warm smile. The lawyer had only been able to reply in the same manner, with smiles and many thanks to the villagers of the little city she was currently visiting. Idylla had asked for logging and food, and they’re provided with the biggest room she had ever seen in sanctum, with more food then she needed. The first few days, she hadn’t been left alone, with the children running around her and braiding some of her hair with pearls, shells, and tiny starfish. Idylla seemed to also fit right in with the populace in terms of clothing, the less you had the better. So the lawyer often found herself in a simple turquoise bikini, with sandals and a see through fabric around her hips. The men looked and Idylla felt like a goddess.

Today, she enjoyed some much needed time alone a little ways off the village in a private pond she’d found with a tiny waterfall. Yes, even Idylla needed some solitary time. She’d brought Voren’s satchel with her too, the only bag she took with her as she travelled through sanctum. Her seed was nestled inside, warm in the satchel and safely hidden within the folds. No one had tried to steal anything from her, but Idylla had avoided some of the places she’d heard weren’t very welcoming of new comers. There was also a threat looming; she could feel it in the wind and the whispers she heard among the villagers. Whatever was coming, many did not take it was a good omen.

Trees and plants surrounded the pond; far from the road only one who got lost or was brought here could find their way. Taking off the fabric around her waist, Idylla went into the pool. No fish had been able to survive such a small place without anyone’s care; she could barely touch the floor, so she worried not about finding a monster down under her. Taking a deep breath, Idylla went under the water’s surface, looking for shells, or plants to bring back the children when she got back to the village.

"We are so lost, lost does not even cut it anymore!" Malice pouted, ruffling his brown hair and throwing the map over his shoulder, it was useless and just annoying him with its lies. Why did life always have to be so damn hard! The trio had decided to take a vacation, it was meant to be relaxing however all that had come of it so far was stress. The little elf was covered in sun-cream, wearing a straw hat and some shorts. He was used to the forest and the mountains, this heat was his own personal kind of torture, he burnt and bruised like a peach and his usual pale skin was red as a tomato. Millisandre could not help but smile. She never got sunstroke. The curvaceous housekeeper wondered around in some shorts and a bikin top, her skin perfectly tanned and her long pale pink hair pouncing behind her in the breeze. "Do not stress so much Malice, getting lost is half the fun!" She chuckled, messing up his hair some more which caused Sigurd's young assistant to pout. Man, he hated this woman, she was so happy all the time, it was so damn annoying.

The maid had loved every moment of this, the swimming, the drinks, chilling out on the beach and getting a tan. She and Malice were so different, where as she loved to be spontaneous the little elf liked structure, routine and knowing what was around the corner. He most certainly hates surprised. He did not like the fact they had nowhere to stay, he did not like the fact they were almost out of money and most of all HE DID NOT LIKE THIS DAMN HEAT. He looked back and stared up into the deep crimson eyes of his master. "Do you have any bright idea's?" He asked folding his arms. Sigurd just shrugged, the long white haired elf was the tallest of the three, not because he was above average for a elf... it was just that Millisandre was so damn short. Malice sighed, he was always a man of few words, it was great because the maid talked enough for both of them but still... it could be so damn frustrating at times.

That was when they came to a small pond, Malice looked on as he saw bubbled arising. Then. SPLASH. Something came from the surface. The little elf looked like he was about to piss his pants. "HOLY CRAP! WHAT THE ******** IS THAT!" He shouted, his sudden outburst making Millisandre jump behind the white haired elf. If that was some sea monster it would have to make its way through her master first! Sigurd was the only one who stared on almost amused by their reaction. "Guys... its just a girl." He stated, pointing over to the woman in the water. Malice finally took his hands away from his face, daring to look. A small blush came onto his face when he realised what a idiot he had been. "Hey, you know you really should not do that to people! You almost sent me into cardiac arrest!" He protested, folding his arms.

Sigurd looked over his shoulder and raised a eyebrow at his hiding maid. Millisandre chuckled and patted him on the back, she would have to come up with a reason for using him as a human shield later. "Woospie haha." She rubbed the back of her head before jumping into the little lake to be with the woman. "Ignore the kid, he is just sour because his parents never loved him." She wafted her hand. Malice was being held back by his master, arms frailing. <******** YOU MILLISANDRE, ******** YOU! MY PARENTS LET ME COME TO LIVE WITH MASTER SIGURD, I AM NOT SOME STRAY DOG WHO WAS THROWN OUT ONTO THE STREETS!!" He shouted, the white haired elf put his hand over the kids mouth as he rolled his eyes. Man, these two were always fighting.

There were some shells and shinning rocks on the bottom of the pond, she grabbed the few she found the most stunning and went back up to the surface for air. Just as she was coming back up, one boy swore profusely before hiding behind some white haired... Elf? Seeing the different races here were spectacular, it seemed that Sanctum reunited everyone around it. Idylla almost felt plain beside them, but she knew she was so in the end, human, dragon, or elf, it didn’t really matter. Though she had heard the white haired elf call her a girl, Idylla had no body or mind of a girl. She gave him one cross look before turning to the woman who had jumped right in.

Idylla swam to the shore of the pond, and dropped her treasures by her bag. She could probably have passed as a nymph, with her long red hair pooling around her, turquoise eyes and the braids with little gifts left behind. The lawyer also chose to ignore the woman’s comment, as it started a war between the younger kid which was silenced by the older man. It was already bad enough that her sister was planning on having a child, she didn’t need one on vacation that had a loud mouth. Leaning on the edge of the pond, Idylla regarded the duo. “So you’re a slave huh?” He had called the silver haired one ‘master’ so she had come to this conclusion; maybe the other woman was his wife.

“So what brings you people around this pool on such a fine day?” She wasn’t too keen on being disturbed, but she was curious as to why a trio would be out here and an interesting trio at that too. She tuned to the kid then. “Try not to yell, you’re going to scare not only the villagers but the animals too.” Her tone was matter-o-fact, not wanting to reprimend someone's slave if that wa shis job. And disturb me further, she thought idly. She wondered if they were going to come take a dip with her, the pond was big enough for all, maybe the kid would be sent away and things could get a little more... interesting.

Malice look on, going redder in the . "Hey, I ain't a slave. I am a linguist, I am a historian, I am a professors assistant! I am not no slave!" He protested offended by that comment, how dare she! who did she think she was! "Hey genius, isn't that a double negative?" Millasandre pointed out with a cocky smile. This only made the young elf go brighter in her face, his skin was not several shades deeper than the burn on his shoulders. That woman infuriated him, all woman did. They were ganging up on him, that is what they did! He turned to his Master, surely he would take his side, he was a dude too! "Hey, I am not getting involved. Your chose your battle now you got to fight it."

"Bah." He rolled his eyes, he was always too lenient with her. He always took her side, he would never understand why. Maybe it was a grown up thing. Sigurd rolled his eyes and patted the young boy on his head, one day he would calm down, hopefully. He would never mistake the women for a Nymph or a Siren. He had studied them and their culture enough to know one when he saw one, no he just saw a human. He was the only one o the group not dressed for summer, he wore a white shirt and some suit pants. He was not one for shorts... or swimming.

The pink haired maid looked back at their squabbling before turning her attention back to the woman, her and the Master were not romantically involved at all, but they had been friends for a long time. Malice did not understand that the two had grown up together, that was why he always took her side. "We are on holiday from Dala, we wanted to see the sights and we ended up here. I am Millisandre, the tall guy with the pointy ears is Sigurd and the little slave is Malice." She pointed, thinking that a introduction was the politest way to bring the meeting forward. She swore she was the only one of them with any class. Sigurd stared at her, as if he read that thought and was protesting against it.

"Says the maid." Pouted the little elf boy, she was the help, she was the one who served them. Where did she get off treating a educated young man like... like... a child! Okay, maybe he was a child, however he had more brain cells than she ever had.

Idylla couldn't help herself, she smiled up at the boy. “Oh I believe you're a linguist, with a very colorful mouth on you.” She was teasing him of course. She'd heard worst in court, people swearing at the judge, throwing tantrums, trying to hit their lawyers when they were sent to jail for their crimes. Lucky, she’d never been on the end of the insults or fists. Idylla made sure to only take on a case she was sure to win, it was a little selfish, but there was no guilt for those who didn't send their clients to jail. The man only seemed to have wise words and pats on the boys head, she wondered if he agreed with the woman.

“Dala... Can't say I've been there yet. I'm from Elore, or well that's where I usually stay when I'm not in Gaia. I'm Idylla.” She had no wish to tell them why she was here yet, after all she was here because the seed in her bag would learn from the knowledge she gathered. She didn't know anyone who went around Sanctum for the simple reason of vacation, except those who's homes were truly from here. She would stay weary of them for now, it was three to one after all and Idylla didn't want to chance it. “It's nice to meet you all. You guys coming in for a dip?”

The only one who looked ready to be in the pond was already in with her, the boy probably didn't want to be stuck in the water with both of them, not after all the teasing anyways. Sigurd, the elf, didn't look like one of those people who wanted to take a swim in a pond with two woman. Usually that would have made her pout, but considering this was perhaps some sort of lord, lost, on vacation, there was no way of telling if or what his reactions would be if she did try a move. If he came to her though, well she wasn't one to refuse.

"Your not missing out on much there." Millisandre sighed, they lived in a house on a mountain and there was nothing around for miles, Sigurd liked to be isolated, he said it helped him concentrate. The three could be the only company they had for months on end, they did get along well, despite how they acted around each other. Life certainly was not boring, despite the solitude.

She looked back over her shoulder towards the two men and blinked. "I do not actually think Master Sigurd can swim and Malice... he will be too scared to." She stated with a small chuckle still trying to provoke the boy. The white haired elf lifted a eyebrow, was she serious? He could swim he... just did not like getting wet that was all, besides water in pointy ears was a pain. "W-wha? What kind of idiot can't swim? I can swim perfectly well thank you." He stated in a very matter of fact tone, he was not going to have her thinking he was inept. Besides that point hardly looked deep enough to drown in.

"Are you sure, I have known you for a long time and I have never seen you in water." She stated shaking her finger back and forth, the man looked away, glaring to the side with a certain redness to his face. He did not like swimming, that was all. She did not have to state it like it was such a flaw. It was at this moment that the kid realized he was being insulted yet again, it happened so often sometimes it went over his head.

"Hey, who you calling scared? I am so not scared of two girls." He stated with a pout, it seemed to be permanently attached to his face, he was a sulky little brat, a brilliant mind but a kid none the less - he had tantrums like any other. "Really now? Come on then." The pink haired maid curled his finger as if to tell him to come over. The boy blinked and blushed, scratching his chin with his finger. "Well I... erm." He looked to the side, wondering how he could get out of this without looking like a coward.

"Haha, told you so." She stated looking towards the other girl, giving her a to suggest that if he got in this pool they make him regret it. Malive fell for the bait and the next thing he knew he was marching towards the water. "Fine, here I come!" He stated, getting in and folding his arms with a smug look. They were not expecting that! Too bad he did not know that he fell right into their trap!

“I'll have to make a note to visit some day, I'm collecting a journal.” Would that be revealing to much? She could always bluff herself out of the situation if they asked her why she was doing it. That Voren elf had left her with no instructions on what to do with the seed, and if she should even be telling people she had one. She barely even remembered how she'd first gotten to sanctum, and boy had it been even harder to return home. Sanctum was not a place for expensive suits, and Elore on rainy days was not meant for high heels.

Idylla made some chicken noises as Millisandre started calling Malice scared, she didn't think the boy would ever get in. Sigurd sounded like his pride had taken a hit there, so he was some sort of intellectual after all! Those people would enver dare let water close to their books, so Idylla guessed he wouldn't like water either, even if he was able to swim. She's caught the girls glance, and offered her a smile, yes, he would pay if he came into the water.

Though, the lawyer couldn't help the look of surprise when he did come in with her and she turned to look at Millisandre with a large smile on her face. “Get him!”
PostPosted: Tue Oct 25, 2011 12:32 pm

Sigurd made a note of the fact the women kept a journal, however did not see the need to ask questions about it. As a professor he kept many and he did not like sharing the information which was in them. If she was anything like him then she would not want to share either, after all they were at times quite personal.

Millisandre might have been a grown woman, however she had the spirit of a child and she personally took ever optionality she could to torture young Malice. He always acted like he was so grown up, in some ways she felt like he had sacrificed his childhood and her constant play fighting was her way to try give him a little of it back. As soon as the other woman shouted to get him she put her hands on his shoulders and ducked him under the water.

Water flew, bubbles raised and lots of muffled screams could be heard as the little elf struggled to get away from the grasps of the girls, he could feel them pulling on him, tickling him, pulling his ears. Then with a gasp of air he broke free of their grasps and with a pout he made his way to try and escape the pool, his face bright red and his hair stuck to his skin. He did not know if he was more embarrassed or annoyed at this point, and they called themselves adults! He shook his head to try and get some of the moisture from his hair, it sprayed all over the place in all kinds of directions. He stared back with those bright green eyes again and pouted before he ran off, he was sick of being treat like a idiot, he was just not going to stand for it anymore.

The maid could not help but laugh, that is what you called a little boy throwing all his toys out of the pram, she knew he was not upset, he was never the kind of cry or get his feelings hurt, he just got annoyed and went off every once in a while. Did you see the look on his face?" She asked the other woman putting a hand on her shoulder, she should not worry about it really, she probably wouldn't if she knew Malice as well as the maid did.

Sigurd bowed his head slightly. "I better go after him, afternoon miss." He nodded, pulling down his top hat slightly before he ran off after his young assistant. When he turned the corner the maid pouted and cocked her head to one side. "I guess I better go too, I do not want to get lost out here on my own. It was nice meeting you though" She stated with a small smile.

The poor kid never knew what he had coming. Idylla just couldn't help herself, she helped Millisandre and tickling the boy, and plucking at his ears. It was all in good humour of course, because both woman were laughing loudly. When Malice got out of their grasp, she pouted and boo'd him in between her giggles. Hopefully, he wouldn't take it too personally, they were only joking after all. Idylla had never been one to worry about such things, so she only watched him get redder and redder until he finally left. Idylla tilted her head, if he wanted to be treated as an adult, he should have acted as one in the first place. He only got what was coming at him.

“Bye!!” Idylla watched the elf leave after the boy, she wondered if he would find him in the place, Ina could be tricky and there were places where one could fall into water. “I don't think he's too happy with us.” She turned back to watch the pink haired woman, would she stay or go too? If she was a maid, than she would surely have to follow her employer. The thought was confirmed when she mentioned leaving. “Oh it was nice meeting you too! Hold on a sec I'm going to give you my coordinates.” Idylla got out of the pond and grabbed her bag, she went searching for it, but in her haste dropped her seed on the ground. Wether the girl had seen it or not, she snatched it up quickly and hide it in her bag once more.

“So here's why you can keep in touch, I'd like to visit Daya one day.” Idylla had scribbled everything on a piece of paper and extended it towards the woman. “It was nice meeting you.” She gave her one last smile before she left, Idylla didn't feel like being alone anymore now. Grabbing up the sheer fabric that had been previously laid on the ground, Idylla wrapped it around her hips and secured it with a knot. Next came her saddles, but she only grabbed those and put the satchel around her shoulder. Bending, she picked up the little things she's collected from the pond and headed back towards the village, maybe she'd see them later on.
PostPosted: Tue Oct 25, 2011 2:57 pm

"I have one of those too." She smiled as she saw the seed on the floor, well she did not have one, theatrically it belonged to Sigurd however they all were curious to see what the strange seed was going to turn into. She had never seen one as bright pink before, the girls seemed to share the same love of the feminine colour, however it was not as vibrant. Millisandre got out of the pond, just in time for the information to be put into her hands.

She wanted to keep in contact, anyone who caused Malice such discomfort was okay in her books. Before she could say anything more the girl went skipping towards town, she would have to send her a letter one day, maybe the two could keep in contact and then the lawyer could see Dala and their little home.

For now though, she knew she needed to catch up with the others. "HEY GUYS, WAIT FOR ME!"
