She was a woman on a mission when she opened the bakery door and entered the sweet-smelling bakery. There was no time to waste on the other people there. She was tired of being away from home, she was getting crabby, and she wanted her cookie, dammit.
But upon reaching the counter, a harsh realization hit her. There were no chocolate chip cookies. None at all. She knew exactly where they were, where they were supposed to be, but there was nothing there. Normally, she wouldn't care. She'd pick up a bag from the supermarket, or maybe she'd ask Peter if he wanted to practice his baking some more. But she was tired, she was hungry, and she just wanted to return to her comfortable couch and take a nap.
There weren't many people in the bakery at the time, so it didn't take Kotone long to identify her culprit. A woman with long white hair sitting by herself. She had a big chocolate chip cookie in front of her. It was supposed to be Kotone's chocolate chip cookie. She should have just gone home. But she was irritated and impulsive. "Hey," she came to a stop next to Ai's seat and crossed her arms. She would have loved to glower down at her, but she was so short, that wasn't a realistic goal. "You took the last chocolate chip cookie. Did you know that? Now what are you going to do about it?" Look at this woman, enjoying her cookie so innocently. It almost made Kotone roll her eyes.

-New Day- Just as Ai was about to take a bit out of her chocolate chip cookie she heard an irritated voice to her side, "Oh hi," she greeted the woman. Ai being Ai was completely oblivious to the woman's irritation until hearing her next statement. Ai looked at the woman and then down to her cookie, "Oh I did?" she asked while staring down at it. "Well I'm sure they'll have some more soon," she tried to reassure her. As for what she was going to do about about it, "Well I was going to eat it," Ai answered honestly. She had thought that was awfully silly question, what else would she plan on doing about it?
She looked back to the woman standing in front of her, "They have lots of other good stuff you can get," she reminded the woman. It wasn't like the bakery didn't have a variety of other baked goods to choose from, there were all kinds of yummy foods in the little shop. "Their brownies are here are pretty good," Ai suggested.

 Ai looked at the blonde haired woman in front of her, unsure of what to do to make amends. She sure was being awfully difficult over something so silly. Ai hadn't even had the chance to enjoy the cookie what with this woman interrupting her. Was a cookie really that big of a deal? Also, who doesn't care about brownies? She began to open her mouth to say something again but stopped as the woman hit her hand on the table. She listened as the woman repeated her question again. Well, seeing as how her last answer didn't suffice it looked like she wouldn't be eating it. "Umm...I can split it in half?" Ai offered. Oh, but in that case she would still be eating it! Well, half of it at least, but that didn't really matter. Still, the woman hadn't even accepted her offer yet and she seemed pretty set on having that cookie. By the time this whole cookie argument was done, Ai wouldn't be surprised if more cookies were already done. Then again, how long did it take to make cookies? She guessed she'd have to do some more baking to find out.
